starcraft 9/10

great game so much fun just one problem this game is really hard ;( I'm not that good at rts but seriously i'm not even finished the terran campaign and each level is a nightmare now. I'm so close to using cheats just so I can at least finish this game.

Crysis - 5.5/10

I finished it, and it's a disappointment.

Jericho - 2/10

Now I'm pretty liberal with game scores, but this game is teh suck. Allow me to explain:
Weak configuration menu. 3 settings for mouse sensitivity? Yes/No questions when an OK is needed? Meh.
Linear game... no problem. Corridors 2 people wide, with a squad of six people and friendly fire? That's a problem, especially if you're in the back, and basically can't shoot anything, lest you waste your own team.
Proprietary game engine. The environments were too drab to make a nice judgement of what it's capable of, but no ability to jump? Crouches take a second to get down? During cut scenes, when you can walk around, the camera wanders around, half in control, half out? No quicksaves?
Quick key tests? I don't know what to call this... the first time it happened, I was walking down a corridor when the floor gave out and I fell to my death. Then I was on the wall, falling to my death again. No instructions. Then I start mashing buttons, and a sideways V appears on the screen. Dead. Is this a cut scene? Dead. Am I supposed to move in that direction? Dead. Am I supposed to hit the period key? Dead. Is that a controller button reference? Dead. Now it's gone! Dead. Now it's pointing the other way! Dead. Is there some kind of timing to this? Dead. Is that something I could have avoided? Dead. I've watched myself fall 20 times in as many seconds, and still have no idea what to do. Eventually I lucked out. I didn't learn how to deal with that scenario after this, so now I get to look forward to more.
AI. Did I mention the game was linear? Even if they had good AI, all they can do is run down the corridor at you. They did switch targets on occasion, so they have that going for them.
Autoswitching characters. Eventually, you can manually switch characters, but just when you're getting the hang of this game, your character dies, and you reside in the others. If the character you're in goes down, you automatically fly to another. Oop! Now I'm in a character who's taking direct fire. What was this character thinking? Retreat... down. Oop! Now I'm in another character. Haven't played this one much, what's he got? Some kind of fire thing that doesn't want to come out, but his minigun... fires rather slowly for a 3-chambered chaingun. Step up to the plate, now he's got a pistol. What's he doing with that? Down. Oop! Now I'm in a character who's been lurking in the back (friendly fire you know), but there are four squadmates down, and I have to heal them. But wait! They died because they were cretins and ran into the middle of the foray. How exactly will I heal all of them in this battle without dying myself? By uninstalling this waste of drive space.

What, you ask, were the two points for?
One, because some of the critters made my wife gasp.
Two, because the shotgun had a good sound. Too bad it was lost when the original character passed on early in the game.

Crosswords DS - 7/10

Yeah so I wuz bored. Fun but a little too easy.

Hitman Blood Money - 10/10
Hitman 2 - 9/10

Blood Money (#4 basically) was awesome, had everything I could want out of a game of its sort.
I played 2 later and it had less of the features so I was somewhat bummed but it was still very awesome. A hell of a lot harder too, like normal mode is the equivalent of hard on BM.

I love Hitman 2. IO Interactive seemed to hit their peak with Hitman 2 and Freedom Fighters. It's been downhill for them ever since. Although Blood Money was pretty cool.

I must be the only one on earth who actually enjoyed Kane And Lynch :(

It's a very difficult game. I still get to the point where I want to cheat because of the time consuming properties of a few of the missions. Really, playing online is infinitely different than the campaign, so don't think you're going to lose anything besides time cheating :p

I'd do it for the story, really.

DiRT - 9/10
-1 for arcade style on turns

Army Of Two - 8/10
-1 for non-skippable cutscenes
-1 for being too short

Basically, if you follow the story and use the AI to your advantage (as opposed to having him in regroup infiltrate mod 24/7) its pretty fun, could do with more destruction though.

GTAIV - 7/10
Boring after you beat the game, the multiplayer is lacking. I now play Normal Life IV with occasional carjackings and shootouts

Oh thanks pitz

*uses infinite health*

That infinite health thing might cause some bugs in a few missions, just turn it off when one of those in-game cutscenes starts.

Rock Band: 9.5/10
Still hours and hours of fun.

Warcraft 3 LAN: 8/10
I wouldn't have rated it to high, but I didn't know what the hell I was doing (first time playing -- yeah, yeah, I know) so I gave it "potential" points.

Portal - so far 7/10. It took ages to get the hang of double-flinging (in some cases quadruple-flinging!) and now I'm up to the last section of test chamber 15. I've been so tense whilst palying it that I've given myself a tension headache now!

Halo 3 - 3/10
not intense. colorful. shiny.

We're saving the world, not painting an amusement park.

Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty - 0/10
This game sucks, easy as that.

Half-Life Episode 2 - 8/10

As good as the last time I played it through, although is it just me or have Valves artists started using bright colours throughout the forest?

Okami (Wii) - 10/10
No game in the last few years has made me happy in the same way that Okami can. It's one of the most perfect unions of graphical design, music, story, and gameplay I've ever seen. It's beautiful.

Is that Psi-Ops on the PC, it hasn't f*cked up anybody's computer yet?

Gears of War 360 - 9/10...
Me and my friend just played through the co-op campaign and had a blast.
This is actually easy to play considering I almost never play console shooters.

All 360:

gta4 9.1 (what to do with the money?)
Bioshock 9.5
Gears of war 9.2
ep1 9.7
ep2 10
hl2 9.9

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - 9/10

-1 for being too easy.

Burnout Paradise - Fun/10

Forza 2 - 11/10
+1 bonus point for online tuning garages.

Counter - Strike - 4/10

Games just wrong on console.

Turok - 1/10

YAY generic/repetitive locations and kills

BF Bad Company demo - 5/10

Fun but lacking. Felt like the BLACK but brighter, more colorful and funny.

Delta Force Black Hawk Down - 7/10

Fun 1v1 deathmatch with a friend. Online play has a lot of people. PSG-1 is overpowered though.

COD4 - 4/10

It'll either go down or stay the same unless more maps or weapons are released. Boring after Prestige. Boring if you don't prestige.

Is that Psi-Ops on the PC, it hasn't f*cked up anybody's computer yet?

Nope.

COD 4: 8/10

My friend got this with his video card, but it won't work with Vista for some reason so he gave it to me. Quite nice, I've been wanting to play this for a while. Anyway, it's pretty fun. I haven't tried single player yet. Multiplayer ranges from being really fun to be wanting to smash my monitor.

I just uninstalled COD4 :(
Played since Christmas, needs alot more new content if it's to keep my interest any longer.

Crash Bandicoot Warped - 7/10...
Dusted off my old PSone and played nonstop, fun but repetitive.

I actually just beat Warped 100% a few days ago. I'd give it an 8. Great game, but I prefer 2.

Psi-Ops

4/10: Shit sucks. Graphical glitches, Parkinson's diseased camera, atrocious dialogue, ugly character models, generic gameplay (keycards? Really?), and uninteresting plot.

It got 4 points because of the havok engine.

Agreed, 3's fun but 2 is ****ing great.

FF4 DS - 7/10

Haven't played much yet, but seems quite okay. Much less sleep-inducing than FF3, at the very least. The ATB system helps... although I don't recall it being in the SNES version.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 8.5/10

Amazing game, but I really wish it was closer to the visual style of the first Smash Bros. I miss the big, easy-to-spot items of the original, and I prefer the way the items worked there as well. The Franklin Badge and Screw Attack should act more like throwable items, rather than one-use powerups.

Bioshock - 8/10

The ending was bad because i harvested most of the little ones. i dun think i wanna play it again.

Assassin's creed was fun but i got bored after awhile because it was getting abit redundant.

Max Payne 2 - Gunwank awesomeness/10

Re-played it during the last couple of days. Still looks great after 5 years. Good storytelling plus great gameplay. One of my fav games ever I suppose.

Trackmania Nations: 10/10. Brilliant. I love that game. And its FREE on Steam! My new fava fav.

Burnout Paradise - 9/10

Once you start getting through the collection of cars, it becomes addicting. Eventhough the system is a bit of a sneaky way to think you have loads to do, its actually just the same races, stunts and getaways as when you played right from the start. The start and finish lines are in the same place, what makes it different each time is the route you chose to take, and that's quite fun, but breaks up the races as you pause and analyse the map, when you can just follow the other cars and boost on the final straight right past them.

Multiplayer is awesome fun though, unless yuo get some tard that doesnt know how to drift or barrelroll.

Good fun, been taking up alot of time.

Woa, cool didn't know it was free, I've heard about this game and seen like 2 videos, and looked kind of fun, but there were so many other games I wanted to buy first, downloading now. Thanks for mentioning it's free.
