V for Vendetta: 9/10

I ordered the graphic novel off of amazon a couple days ago, decided to grab the movie when I saw it for $10.

Threads: 9.9/10 some bad graphics, but what can you expect from the BBC in '84?

Incidentally, I just finished reading the graphic novel. It's really quite excellent.

Yeah, I rate that highly as one of the better comic translations on film. The ideas in the comic don't get watered down, and the point its trying to make still comes across.

This movie made me so depressed for the whole day after seeing it. Probably something to do with everyone vomiting and burning and bleeding and crying. Still an awesome and very interesting movie, it was intriguing to see what could happen after a nuclear war.

Same here. Especually the scene with
the cat dying.
But those 2 minutes of the actual blast are very good.

I didn't know about the graphic novel but I still think this movie is very bad.

hulk - 7.5/10

Good movie. Not amazing but still good :)

One thing I did personally find was that edward norton was such a good character in this that I pretty much didn't care when the hulk came out. Also nice iron man cameo at the end :)

Amores Perros - 10/10

I've seen it many times now, but it still never gets old. My favourite film, and perfect for me in every way.

An Affair to Remember: 9/10
The Mouse That Roared: 7/10
Be Kind Rewind: 6/10
Don't Mess with the Zohan: 5/10
TransAmerica: 8/10
Music and Lyrics: 7/10
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly: 8/10
Doom: 4/10
The Omega Man: 6/10

More to COME!

Please, DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE.

shut up!

i watched it three times and i still like it...don't know why but i do, there's something that catches me in.

just watched King Arthur...nice action flick 7.5/10

The Incredible Hulk 8.5/10

Very good. I was all D: at the Stark appearance

Wow, does everyone here think it says "Overrate the last movie you watched"?

It's our opinions, don't like it?
Piss off.

Signs - 7.9/10...
The 'twist' is incredibly lame but before that it's a very intense suspense flick.

Awake - 2/10...
2 points for having a very promising premise.

Blade Runner - 7/10...
It's really... really slow but I managed to enjoy it.

All Quiet On The Western Front (the 1930 version) 9/10 - The first great war movie and still one of the greatest even today.

Busty cheerleader Jesse Jane ****ed

7/10

Could have done with some more lesbian shots, but overall I was satisfied with it.

13th floor.

7.8/10

I liked it quite a bit. The premise for the movie was pretty awesome and it had some thought provoking ideas on the future of video games and simulations. Acting wasnt great, but i'd say it neither added nor detracted from the movie.

Heh, Doom. A decent movie.

End of days, the one with Arnie? I like it.

I swear to God my girlfriend walked in on the last few minutes of Doom and asked if it was a comedy.

He thought it so hard at her that it made his brain hurt.

10,000 B.C. - 7.8/10...

Inane historical inaccuracy and cheesetastic dialogue and shoddy acting aside, it was fairly enjoyable.
Great special effects and interesting story, even though it was a little hard to follow.

Really, not as bad as I was led to believe.

Wanted - 8/10

Fun, funny, ridiculous at times, certainly not flawless but great entertainment.

The Incredible Hulk - 5/10

The scenes with Hulk were pretty good - y'know, it was Hulk action, just him tearing everyones shit up, really - but everything in between... honestly, thats the first time I've actually nodded off in a cinema before. The parts in between were so trudging and dull it was really hard for me to stay awake.

Best parts are Nick Furys name on a document at the start, the actual use of Stark Industries weapons and then Tony right at the end. But it's hard to really enjoy Hulk when Iron Man is just so, so awesome compared.

Admittidly, I was tired when I went into the cinema but I don't think it would of made a difference, it still wasn't all that great. Better than the first, though.

Evil Dead 2- 7/10 Pretty good, the humor actually fits, although the first twenty minutes or so have about a million little insignificant niggling things just to irritate me.

Night of the living Dead 1990 remake- 8/10 Haven't seen the original, so I have nothing to judge it against, just seemed like a good, classic survive some zombies type movie. It also reeked of ninties.

Children of the living dead- 1/10 I didn't want to give it a zero, because.... well, I don't know. Pretty much the worst movie I've ever seen, and I only watched the first 15 minutes.

Amelie from Monmartre - 5/5 (Gonna watch it again).
Cool World - 3/5 (appropriate but doesn't deserve a second look)

Pirates XXX - 8/10...

Best movie parody porno that I've ever seen.
Has a little bit of everything from BJs to lesbian scenes.
Scantily clad pirate women ftw.

Jumper 8/10

Nice movie, would have gotten a 6, but it does something really awesome. It cuts the
introduction to how the character became what he is to a minimum, so no 40 minute
long boring nonsense before the scifi action. It's all done in 10 minutes.
Also the action sequences are cool and special effects top notch.
