Boondock Saints is overrated garbage. I really have to question the standards of quality when that film is regarded with such reverence.
He speaks the truth!

I don't think its the best movie EV4R, but c'mon, theres some good fun there. Even if its just Willem Defoe. :D

Undead: ?/10
I really don't even know what to say about this one. If you watch bad horror movies for fun you have to see it. Its horribly acted and totally indie, but is a bizarro mishmash of a bad zombie movie and a comedy making fun of itself. Its....weird. And funny. And bad. Just see it.

Whoa whoa whoa. 9 or above plz.

Heh, it was good, but if you listen to the last quarter hour or so, it's cliche'd as ****. Which they may or may not have been going for, but it's not so much my cup of tea.

Now Serenity. There's a sound-ass film.

Batman Begins - 9/10

Really excellent. Above my expectations. Well choreographed, great action, fantastic story, and above all - NO F*CKIN' NEON!

Finally got my hands on Gojira: Final Wars: 8/10

A fitting entry and ending to Godzilla's reign for the next few years. So-so acting, and someamazingly detailed monster designs ( mostly CGI- say goodbye to rubber suits!) but if you love movies with lots of excessive violence and destruction to make The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction look like childs play, get this now.......

The 40 Year Old Virgin 8/10
Funny stuff. Love how quick the movie is considering its 2 hours long. Which is long for a comedy.

Serenity 7/10
Great movie, but you Firefly freaks have made it the most overrated movie of the year. I went in expecting total and utter awesomeness. I got the a pretty good film, but nothing utterly awesome.

Princess Mononoke 8/10
Great animation. Alot of Miyazaki cliches though. Still it was great. Spirited Away still kicks its ass though.

Doom: 7/10

Good: BFG, shooting/action/etc, atmospheric environments, **FPS SEQUENCE**

Bad: Not enough variety of monsters, nothing directly linked to hell, although it does give slight references

Blow - 6/10... could have been so much better though.

Millenium Actress 11/10 One of the best films I have ever seen.

Grosse Point Blank 8/10

Great movie, how come Cusack doesn't make great films such as Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity now? All we get out of him now is chick flicks. :(

Not quite a movie, but I just finished watching Scrubs Season 2 on DVD - 10/10

Well two of the last things he's done have been Runaway Jury and Identity. Not normal Cusack fair, but hardly chick flicks.

Although I enjoyed both movies, his last movie was Must Love Dogs which is a chick flick. Although I'm looking forward to The Ice Harvest.

The Proposition 7/10

Not bad. A little slow and sporadic in places. Very violent. The guy who plays the captain is great.

Seven Samurai 10/10

Awesome stuff. Toshiro Mifune is ****ing awesome as Kikuchiyo. Coolest anti-hero ever.

Saw II

Best movie of the year, so far. Psychological thriller espescially watching the latest showtime, really gets you when you're driving home at 1:30 AM after watching the movie. It's a great movie, huge surprise at the end.

10/10

Was digging through the 'rents DVD collection last night and decided to watch Lost In Translation.

A fantastic and beautiful film, 10/10 I reckon. One of those films you really don't want to end. I may have to watch it again now I think about it.

Garden State - 10/10

my cousin kept telling me that it was really good and that i should watch it, well i finally decided that i play it, and it was the best movie that i have seen in a long time, i felt that this movie was one of, if not, the best movies that Natalie Portman has done.

well, there is my opinion, and i think that i am going to go see The Weather Man today, so a rating on that sould be in by the end of today or so, depends on if i want to spoil it for you guys ;)

Finding Nemo - 8/10 - Really cute and got a few laughs in it. Great to watch with the girlfriend :)

Serenity 9.9/10...the best movie of the year!

Doom 1.2/10..the worst movie of the year! :x

I agree with this person. I swear we have the same taste in movies.

It is one of the best movies of the past couple of years. I can't believe how much better it was than the first. Actually, they both are the best thriller movies ever made. Correction. Best movies ever made.

Doom gets a 6.9/10 in my book. It was a decent movie. I thought the Rock was cool and all. Though I would appreciate it if he knew another word besides f***. He said it at least 10 times in the movie and EMPHASIZED it like I just EMPHASIZED the word EMPHASIZED. It got me annoyed. The first person was f'n sweet though it only lasted for a little bit.

Saw II is hands down a movie that will go in the books and for quite some time.

DOOM. 6/10. However, let's put that in perspective. It is the best movie ever made based off a video game, owed in large part to the presences of The Rock and Karl Urban.

Doom 8.5 (with fps sequence included) 7.0 (without)
The Movie is nothing more then you mediocre Action/Horror Popcorn flick.
The FPS sequence has got to be one of the most ingenius things i've ever seen in a Movie though.Simply Orgasmic!

If HL 2 ever gets turned into a Movie,it should be entirely done in the first person view. We've seen now that it works. So why the "hell" not!?!?

Excellent! You finally got your hands on a copy! Or am I thinking of another person...........

Saw 2 - 3.5/10 (Gave Saw 1 a 1.5)

Still not that scary, acting is still utter shit, The story's a great idea though.

Lord of War - 6/10

Not too bad, but in itself it's unsure whether to be a thriller or a hard hitting documentary come drama.

Should probably called "Nic Cage gets Laid".

Yup that was me. And i seriously recommend you get your hands on a copy. If you loved Yojimbo, you'll absolutely die for Toshiro Mifune in Seven Samurai.
