I have the scans for the GI review but I know how much hl2.net hates scans, so I'll just keep them to myself.

lol. Obviously you can traverse to the other side, Raz! I mean as an obstruction from passing anywhere you'd like. If you could swim, then they'd have no means to keep you from crossing before the game has unlocked that area. So the river serves as this barrier without looking out of place.
...
9.75. That's a pretty incredible score! D:
please someone pm me scans! ;(
The sad thing for me is that im going to only have 2 days of after-work hours with RDR before I leave to New Orleans for the weekend.
Uh...Man... I hope since there isn't the sheer number of cars
Uh...
So, PS3 or Xbox?
I don't think there will actually be any cars roaming about, that would mean they'd have to (in likelihood) let you steal them, which would add a whole new dimension to gameplay and kind of undermine the horse thing. I have heard they'll be involved in some way though, if only in missions.Well firstly, it's 1908(and thus there are cars), and secondly, what I meant was it's not GTA IV... there's not a ton of cars on screen, nor a ton of pedestrians. I just hope the same GTA type pop in and pop out system is not in place, or at least extended to ridiculous distances.

Heh. Raz has simply been referring to resources(RAM and CPU/GPU resources). Without dozens of various cars (models/textures/stats/AI) everywhere like in GTA, we expect Rockstar had much more resources available in the game for amazing scenery other graphical improvements (since really all the horses are just different colors?). One improvement Raz was hoping for was increased draw distance for NPCs.

"Hi, I'm Hokey, I love getting infractions."
No, way. He was talking about both. Also, I can't figure out why you are trying to explain it to me after Raz and I already explained it.He wasn't talking about draw distance. He was talking about how you could see a car, look away, and look back and the car would be gone. The game did this to save on memory, and raz is just hoping that with so fewer things to store in memory, like vehicles and enemies, that this problem will be gone.
But I only mentioned the one because that was all that was necessary to explain that he completely misunderstood what Raz was saying.I hope since there isn't the sheer number of cars and pedestrians in the game they don't have the GTA styled disappearing when you look forward and then back again.
I hope you can follow people at a safe distance for a long time without them suddenly vanishing as the game cleans them up.
Are you guys even following the thread? ****. I mentioned resources pages ago.I think what Krynn is trying to say Virus, is that the problem will be gone with fewer things in memory. Don't make a thing out of this.
It also saves resources (that they can use elsewhere) since they don't have data for that

Then you also didn't read the part about the mods not liking scans. Sorry brah, just trying to save you the trouble of having to post about your infraction and how TOTALLY BULLSHIT it was. :bounce:Maybe I didn't read last page. Dick.

Also it's Game Informer and we were talking about it just last page.

I think what he was trying to say is that if you can't look away from a car and have it disappear in multiplayer that would be SO BULLSHIT.
(Yeah I misunderstood what you said in that first post, sorry. :V)

What I think Virus is trying to say is that he's sorry for not understanding what Raz said.
It's cool virus. Just let it go. Im sure there will be plenty of resources or whatever.
Quote wars over semantics. Truly this game cannot come soon enough.

What's the problem with scans? I'm going to assume it's like sharing music or movies.
Also... ten days left. D: D: D: D: D:
