There might not be a song that 100% of the population enjoys, but there are songs that almost everyone knows and loves. Someone mentioned "we will rock you"
Everyone I know, whether or not they like any other rock song, knows that song and at least enjoys listening to it.
So yes, there are some. You are wrong. GTFO.
Good song, I suspect people would prefer 'Everybody Hurts' though but that song makes me all depressedHow about REM - Losing My Religion?

I'd call it synth rock, which makes it a) a subset of rock and b) an awesome song.*Raises hand* :|
Any way, I'm tempted to say "Cars" by Gary Numan, but there's two problems with that. One, I really don't know what the universal reaction to it is. Two, can it really be considered rock? Synth rock? Pop rock? New Wave? What? I mean, this was the verge into the 80's...
Then what the hell is it...?Don't think it counts as rock though
oasis songs can't possibly be hated by people..agree?
oh and i have never met a single person in my life who has said that Coldplay-Clocks sux..
