I agree with the truth thing. But I don't agree with making people feel bad. If you make someone feel bad, if they don't kill themselves, they may stop doing whatever they were doing altogether! I don't mind how TDE did it, just as long as he doesn't laugh :)

druckles you tard you just ruined the longest running chain of green avatars in a thread EVER, it could have been a a record breaker if it wasn't for you meddling kid.

OH, sorry, my finger must have slipped and I must have accidentally quoted the forum rules- coincidentally at the same time that the number of off topic posts (in a row) reached 10...

And as I said, hmm twice before now. You can't really do one of these unless your a mod or have one in your pocket to keep it clean for you.

And lets face it, the actual number of posts fitting the subject of the thread is small anyway. You can't set off a thread like this and then not work on it all the time. Posting images yourself, tutorials, tips and hints, links etc.

I would contribute to this thread if I had more time at the moment, but any artwork I'm working on is generally for my art exam- we've recently started the preperation stages. After the research stage I'll be working on movement of the body and such, so I'm sure I could read up on a few tutorials and work on some agile female assasains or something. I would love to contribute to this thread more, I'm just caught between lots of work and playing WoW currently :/

Yea I can see what you're getting at now. People seem to be easily carried away by the flow of a conversation, and before you know it the whole thread's talking about... wait.. what IS this thread about now? Green avatars? Blue? Kick..? urg :x

Start a new thread on a different subject, see if that works out better.

How about a fantasy pic thread?

I feel like doing some drawing, someone make a "character art" thread.......where we can post pictures of characters.
I like art and this is the only hl forum which really embraces it well.

Good Idea, I would do it now, but my eyes are about to fall out and I still haven't finished this damn Fench homework.

I like this idea a lot- somewhere that we can post drawings of character concepts. Plus the human body can be rather hard to draw, so it would be great for people to post any tutorials for dynamic poses, scale and proportion of the body, detail effects etc.

he (or she :D) mentioned it in another thread... it really makes me wonder..... :)

*runs away and keeps practicing drawing heads... :D*

Yea I think some kind of *no holds barred characters from your imagination whatever shape of form* thread would be cool. That way you know that it would really be a thread relying on true creativity. Damn thats actually something Im not good at.

why not that fighting fantasy idea a few of us had.. doing the drawings for inside the book (simple kind so more could submit stuff) and a joint one in the fanfic section for writing it itself. And then a proper contest for the cover design.

oh darn, creamator, i love your assasin drawings, i love them all!

For the Headcrab Rotisserie? :cheese:

btw, thanks, ktimekiller

np cremator, i love all the artists here, i love you all! give me a hug!

Woo *me hugs ktimekiller, although I'm not too much of a regular on the Art forums!*

I got a beautiful Elisha Cuthbert piece in the making. It looks ok, being drawn by a cheap unbranded pencil as usual, on the cheapest paper the Office World shop stocks in bundles of 500 :D So technically its a rather difficult situation considering. I will try and get it scanned for the almighty showcase.

This is something that Sulkdodds pencilled during science, and I inked during English. oh yea we also did some of that... work... stuff....

Obviously the woman has been shot, and is being cradled by a mysterious man. I like to think that in her last few moments on this earth, the woman has finally realised what she has been living for; why she woke up in the morning, and what lulled her to speel at night. That thing was love- the love of another, their soft touch, their affectionate eyes and the knowledge that they will always love you. With these thoughts swirling round her head in her final moments, she realises that she doesn't need to cling on to the tatters of her life anymore- and with the warm sensation of enlightenment in her weary heart, she dies peacefully, no longer searching for a meaning in her life.

Sulkdodds, however, thinks that the emotional tears, subtle smile and outstretched hand are simply a random movements that occur when your brain is shutting down, and mean nothing more than a cluster of meaningless actions.

Very poetic and nice indeed, yet I would like it more with some coloring :naughty:

LOL im not sure which I like better - the drawing or what you said! haha that was genius, and the pic is very good too, wel done :D

The drawing is good for a beginner. I mean it's obviously a cartoon.

I could give you some learn to draw web pages if you wanted because it's not really a competition of high standards yet.....yet.

ALrighty I'll show you one of my sketches then... a good one this time.

ur work, s'il vous plait? i don't think one can really improve much on any of tde's work, and suicides was pretty flawless to me as a cartoon.
