Was there any debate whether the GoW footage was pre-rendered? I guess I missed that.

If any of the consoles are going to die it's the Revolution. It's been confirmed by Nintendo it's only 2-3 times more powerful than the GameCube(the X360 is 15 times more powerful than the XBox) therefor is the least powerful console by a signifigent margin. And Nintendo doesn't have a fat wallet to draw from.Pibborando San said:I'm just worried that the 360 might turn into another Dreamcast. I mean, it's releasing ahead of everyone else, it's hardware isn't as powerful as Sony's, and... it's white for god sakes. And it has a big circular logo...

IGN said:Is the Killzone sequence a fair example of what people can expect from realtime gameplay on PlayStation 3?
Jan-Bart: Yeah, it's basically a representation of the look and feel of the game we're trying to make.
i just noticed the 'official playstation magazine interview', doh, what do you expect, i abandoned official mags a long time ago.Absinthe said:The way the Killzone devs are dancing around questions with wordy answers gives even more reason to be suspicious of the video's legitimacy. Well, it doesn't arouse suspicion in me. I'm quite certain now that the video was fake.
I love where the IGN editors leave their comments. Every one of them said that the video was fake.
And apparently grammar too.jimbo118 said:i just noticed the 'official playsatation magazine interview', doh, what do you expect, i abondoned official mags a long time ago.
A pair of Apple Powermac G5 systems were actually running the Xbox 360 demos, not the 360 console. The consoles in the kiosks weren't actually running, they were just for show - now you know why all the controllers were wired.
thx dad, thats what happens when you're angry.Sparta said:Abandoned
How long ago did work start on the sequence?
Jan-Bart: We started working on it in late November, and only finished it three days before the show, at the very, very last moment!
Yeah, making threats over the internet - you really are a badassCons Himself said:Yes but if it wasnt for his article, you would never have posted your inane BS post. Goddamit I wasted 2 seconds of my life reading your crap. I can never get those 2 seconds back and its all your dammed fault. If I were half the man I was 5 years ago i'd introduce you to the business end of my shoe whilst wearing a Cary Grant-esque perpetual scowl on my face. Damm im such a badass.
323, 456 losers thought the article was a fanboy bit of console-bashing.
Actually, I found it interesting.RoyaleWithCheese said:Am I the only one who finds this very funny?
People also don't realize though that Sony and Microsoft are stretching the truth about their new systems power. 30 times more powerful sure as hell isn't going to mean 30 times better looking on the screen. I am pretty sure Nintendo means that the power in its new system will make it look 2-3 times better on the screen which is what the 360 and PS3 are also looking like. In that case it is up to par.CommunistPenguin said:If any of the consoles are going to die it's the Revolution. Considering its size, I highly doubt that at all. Nintendo must have pulled some kind of technological miracle to produce something in comparison with the X360 and PS3.The Mullinator said:People also don't realize though that Sony and Microsoft are stretching the truth about their new systems power. 30 times more powerful sure as hell isn't going to mean 30 times better looking on the screen. Oh I don't know. I have no doubt it will have games looking 2-3 times better than whats on the gamecube right now. I mean the gamecube certainly has games looking 2-3 times better than what was on the N64 right? Plus when you look at them the games on the 360 and what will probably be a final result on the PS3 I also only see them looking 2-3 times better than what they have now.Axyon said:Considering its size, I highly doubt that at all. Alright then how about I say that the difference in graphics between the N64 and the Gamecube will be about the same as the difference between the Gamecube and the Revolution? The difference between the graphics of the X-box and the 360 will be about the same as the difference between the N64 and the Gamecube.Cons Himself said:how can you accurately quantify by what degree one generation of games looks better than the last?
you can't - so stop trying.
