steam updated now HL2 won't start

umm no i think companies have taken measure in detecting if lines are down or not.

Cuz it has been a joke since day 1 of the release of half-life2. With all the problems. Not to all ppl but yeah there are numerous ppl with problems, including me.

Probably, they shouldn't have try things like this in the first place. Pile of garbage. Does it make any difference? the warez version is out there and working properly. Ehem, while paying customers are suffering. Full of crap.

well i guess you havent played for very long.. no offense... i have been playing counter-strike for like 4 years now maybe more... soon as steam came along.. everything went to crap.. always having problems.. always down.. friends not working.. yada yada.... and it has been a major pain in everyones neck.. why dont you go back in the forums about a year now and read all the f' ups steam has done since they came along... then you can edit your post when your done.

obviously not one of the people unable to install the game because steam doesnt recognise your cd, or a person who gets the stuttering, or a person who's game crashes due to memory issues, although my steam ride has been a fun one so far i wish they would at least make a statement and have a rollback so we could actually play.

I quit Counter-Strike back then in the past with one major reason: Steam. Plus it started to get borring. Steam was and is annoying.

its 4 20......i have something else to do that will occupy me while they fix this.

PS in one page we went from steam bitching to a midget hanging gabe newell from a wall by his testicals, and that in fact his testicals are very small, and require small nails, thus the reason for the midget.

and i am apparetnly king of testicals.

ok, this is the stuff that pisses me off. i spend 55$ on a game, and i cant even show my friends when they come over. i even tried to return it, the same day, and i work in the mall. BUT NO!! they made me keep it. stuff just pisses me off. damn you half life 2. DAMN U
