Steampowered kicked us out! Ooh the excitement!

It's 2am here, and I don't know what to do : go to sleep or wait? Maybe I should start a poll? LOL

I'm more than willing to see the outcome of this gripping affair,

1 in the morning here, don't care.

The steam update some of you were talking about is this;

Steam Client Update Released

A platform update is available and will be applied automatically when Steam is restarted. The changes include:

Corrected problem preventing Asian, Russian, Thai, and Japanese Windows ME users from seeing proper text.

Half-Life 2 For Sale?

Thanks for your patience and we will update you when we have more news to share.

Hold on, when thesse forums went tdown the message said "HL2 will not be released early"

Was this said to make everyone go away? or do they know that it won't?

**** vivendi, what a bunch of fags who know dick all about gaming anything work there

I already had that update. So still have no idea why it said it was updating.

Vivendi are a bunch of !"£$%%^^&*. If the retail is as widely available as the net reports then what do they have to lose if Valve turns the authentication servers on. I hope Valve are on the hotwire now sorting this out.

Go Valve !!!!

does anyone know who told the targets and best buys and so on to go ahead and sell the game?

man...whyis VU being such an arse...its mainly their fault the HL2 retial versions are being bought!

Bollocks.
nobody seems to think that it's a temporary thing..like maybe a couple hours while the servers get synced?

Argh!#@1413

Another drop in bandwidth...

Someone get me a VUG email to which I can direct my hatemail, QUICK!

isn't vivendi shooting themselves in the foot so to speak?

I would think that the actions taken would only strengthen Valves case

who knows...did vivendi tell the stores to go ahead and sell?

:bounce:   Your not as funny as you think. quit that"I am so ever evil!" laugh.

Forums are back online guys - the show is over ;)

EDIT: Maybe not, they I am getting database errors every other page.

i can't belive VU...its like they are blind to the fact that quite a bit of ppl are buying it...and more will now that Best Buy and other stores arent abiding by the Street date

OMG - MY HL2 JUST ACTIVATED

....is what people will be saying on Tuesday at 0800 GMT

I don't think its fair to blame VU, blame the stores that cannot follow simple instructions.

Everybody here fill in the problem report to VU that homer posted the link to and put halflife 2 not working. That should really p*** them off.

People cant play a game they just bought, and the game is 100% ready for release. People cant play is because of VUG. I blame the hell out of them.

Emailed them stating that the game was sold to me with false advertising! :p
