Let's examine this logic. If your bicycle isn't locked, I can steal it (your fault for not locking it). If the door to your house isn't locked, I can go in and do whatever I want (you should have locked the door). If we accept that unsecured (which is a loose concept) computer networks can be accessed without permission, then we also accept that unsecure houses can be entered without permission.
