Synthos said:hey, look, if his wifi network isn't encrypted, and he shared his root C on the network, then it's perfectly legal to do whatever you want : it's his fault he shared root C anyways...
Cybernoid said:By the way, I have wireless access, too, so I don't kindly to idiots like poseyjmac wandering into people's private networks as if they owned the place.
CB | Para said:Yeah well secure your computer you dumbass.
And if it weren't for curious guys like Poseyj a lot of shit would have gone undiscovered.
Legally- bothShuzer said:Cybernoid, there's a fine line between exploiting children in kiddie porn and having those pictures/videos/whateverver else and downloading warez and keeping it. Which one deserves to be "busted?"
Cybernoid said:Continuing with this logic, I could come over there and beat you to death. Why? Well, you should have been more stronger. Since you weren't, I had the moral right to beat you up.
If your bicycle isn't locked, I can steal it
poseyjmac said:found pics that appear to have underage content. now we want to bust this guy
CB | Para said:God you're a troll, you're whining about people "invading" people's private networks well secure your shit we don't live in LALA land, with pink ****ing fluffy bunnies.
not locking your bicycle doesn't give someone the right to steal it but that someone will if he wants to.
Why do you think the police advise people not to parade their mobile phones everywhere?
Use some common sense and stop trolling.
AJ Rimmer said:Legally- both
Morally- Kiddie porn and or abusing children easy classifies as one of the top five things people deserve to die for. downloading music/videos/games and sharing them classifies somewhere in the top five thousand.
I agree 100%.Shuzer said:I was talking on a moral stand point. To compare piracy to child porn is ridiculous.
AJ Rimmer said:I agree 100%.
Shuzer said:Now, if Cybernoid would realize how stupid a statement he made..
Cybernoid said:So why is it okay to enter someone's network if it isn't "locked"?
Because they might get stolen. But it's still not legal to steal a mobile phone
He didn't say it was okay, but it's something you should accept might happen if you leave your bike unlocked.Cybernoid said:So why is it okay to enter someone's network if it isn't "locked"?

we are also pretty sure we know where the condo is. tonight a guy walked out of his condo and looked around, was looking in our direction for a while, we tried to act cool. we drove off and came back later. he looked like one of the people from one of the pictures, but we aren't 100% sure.
so what to do now? payphone the authorities, tell them where to go with a laptop and drive off?
CB | Para said:Jeez you're slow. No one ever said it's okay or legal, get that through your thick skull. If you put your car unlocked with the keys in it and it gets stolen you can't act surprised it will be your own god damn fault. DO... YOU... UNDERSTAND?
blahblahblah said:If you are certain that it was underage content, you need to call the police. You need to tell them the truth. They will not get you in trouble, why would they spend the time prosecuting somebody who was mischevious when you took a dangerous man off the streets? They will thank-you not arrest you.
Cybernoid said:You condone it. Your attitude is that if you don't lock your house, car or whatever, anyone can enter it, and it's your own fault, you're stupid etc. etc. ad infinitum.
Cybernoid said:Yeah, watching porn is really dangerous.
blahblahblah said:I am willing to bet that there is a extremely high correlation that people who watch kiddy porn will commit sex crimes against kids.
jesus christ cybernoid, stop playing devil's advocate. do you have your own kiddie porn collection or something?Cybernoid said:Again, where is the evidence? "Suspecting" that some files may be kiddie porn based on their names is rather vague. Well, the only way to know for sure is to open them. But... then you'd be guilty of doing the exact same thing! You're ****ed either way if you asked me.
