I got a little toy Tumbler and a bunch of sweet film stickers in this little Dark Knight baggie today :D

I was thinking about making the Tumbler into a Keychain, since I lost my Boba Fett Slave I keychain. That's why I got it, but it's kinda big to try and make into a Keychain, don't want it falling off...

i described how awesome the dark knight was to my cousin, told him joker was badass. But, it's like my cousin refuses to agree just because the joker is a symbol of evil... it's like if he were to think joker was badass he thinks people would judge him as a bad person. So far, all the people ive spoken to about the Joker(besides my cuzzo) in The Dark Knight say Joker was plain and simple a badass character in the film, and heath's performance was top notch.

This movie's greatness can be summed up by two words: disappearing pencil.

lol, everyone is going off about that disappearing pencil trick.

But it's true

I never thought a scene so short would be so epic :D

I am surprised at how big that pencil thing is getting, I ****ing love it.

I wonder if there'll be shirts with the quote on top with a picture of a pencil stuck in a table. i'll take one

I hope they don't destroy the joke. People are good at that.

So is gotham knight supposed to be cannon in Nolans universe?

The womans car was destroyed and she told the goons that the Joker owes her a new car. So instantly I thought "the Joker destroyed Batmans Tumbler?!?!" Also the Joker poison is in the first movie. It put a smile on the face while killing the person. I thought they had brought it back in the film but they didn't. For people like my dad though, they hadn't seen a trailer for the film. He told me that he doesn't get hyped up years before a film. :dozey: I mean I didn't know that the Tumbler was destroyed and if you noticed, they pulled those 2 ads rather quick.

In the first one it was fear gas, that distorted what people saw with terror. Not joker juice.

It's supposed to be, but it felt so disjointed that I couldn't accept it as part of the same universe.

I was disappointed.

best super hero movie ever holy shit.

Everything I want to say has been said already so yeah Ill just leave it at that. Already know Im gonna go see again in IMAX next week

Hool, I demand you move away from Massachusetts.
I completely agree. This entire state is a festering shit hole including teh entire East Coast. Regardless of what NH call us, most are massholes too, yet they are mostly jerks themselves.

No, I'm talking about teh one with Jack Nicholson.

Love how he enters all with the fake and sinister ha ha's. :D

I can't figure out what he says at the end of that scene, sounds like-
"IT'S...... maj- it's gone!"

Ah, when you said first I thought you meant Batman Begins. MY BAD

i like how they used the sonar technology as a way to thumb their noses at our government's patriot act haha

So I went back and watched all the Batman movies I own, being Batman '89, Returns, Mask of the Phantasm, and Begins, and I actually enjoyed Mask of the Phantasm the most. One of the best animated movies I've seen. If you haven't seen it, and enjoy animated movies, I'd definitely recommend it.

I just got back from seeing it on IMAX and as much as I loved the film I was expecting to love it more. Heath was flawless as the Joker but I wish there could of been a different final scene for him.

Instead of having him just swinging there I would of preferred a final scene with him being actually dragged in and locked up. I didn't think it wrapped him up well enough.

What are we to expect in the third chapter if there is one?

I only wish there was more of the Joker laughing. What there was, was perfect. But he always seemed to get cut off by a scene change.

Just got back from it....

Holy mother of f*ck that was awesome.

I kept hearing it was good (I told people to not elaborate any more than that), but I kept hearing Fast & the Furious was good when that came out too...so I was taking the praise with a grain of salt.

Ledger will win Best Actor for this.

Movie of the year IMO, too bad they can't ever bring the joker back :(

Holy shit. 10/10, Only movie i ever given 10 exept fight club, and i think i liked this more.

Tomorrow, 12:45 showing. Not going to IMAX anymore because most of the people who are coming can't be arsed to pay 2 more quid for 10x more quality and a day out to somewhere unique. ****, I hate humans sometimes.

Still though, IMAX or not, I'm well excited! :D

They must have the Joker and Scarecrow in the third one. The Joker always finds a way out (or it's ALWAYS part of the plan ;)) and hinted at it. Joker was saying "you know, I think we were destined to do this forever." Sure he wanted to corrupt Batman by killing him and ensuring that it doesn't go on. He didn't though and he might pay big time later on. Just think about all the lives he would have saved by killing the Joker or Scarecrow.

It will be near impossible to top this with a third installment. And even tougher to replace Heath, who was brilliant.

Epic.

All I have to say.

Oh, and I guessed it about a quarter of the way through.

I'm going to see it at the IMAX again in about 2 weeks. :D

By the way, best f'in Bill Fichtner cameo ever.
