As Numbers said... a good reason for not exactly trusting them... is that Iran is a theocracy.

While I may be religious, I believe in a separation of church and state. When you get Religion and you get corrupt people with significant power, those two often combine into an ugly and volatile mixture.

Can you imagine if there were no theocracies in the world? The governments wouldn't recognize Israel as a holy land... none of them, and therefore they wouldn't wage war to fight over it. Instead, the citizens of those countries would instead be able to migrate to visit the holy land with relatively little fear of attack, with the cooperation by two or more secular governments.

They voted for it. Isreal is a democracy, the people do have a degree of responsibility for what the government does. Any of them who not actively opposing their governments actions, well I hold them as responsible as possible without wanting to kill/imprison.
