played san andreas last night, couldnt of been more fun. Stole a plane, flew to another city, got shot down, crash landed on a highway, stole a truck.....

thats what its all about gentelemen
 
I went into Los Santos airport when I wasn't able to yet but jumping on a large trunk and jumping over a fence. Then tried to fly a plane and hit a hanger and plane go boom. I die I pissed do not want plane. Oh were is the pilot school? And how long till I can get in?

I dunno, third party computer related companys do this shit all the time with games because they have more money than the consumers as a whole.

San Fierro is supposed to be San Francisco actually.

If you check the map you can see a dirt runway going East/West and X's lining the sides (Steven is right, it's quite close to Las Venturas). That's the airplane graveyard. I'm pretty sure the flying lessons only unlock when you get to the proper mission.
 
Well, I'm not far enough into the game to get to San Fierro and Las Veturas without getting the automatic 5 star level. How far till that?

And this comedy Club there NPC doing standup routines? Beacause that sound's very awesome! I love to laugh and that really shows the depth of the world.

It'll take you a while until you get to the part I'm talking about.

I've heard the comedian does standup. I don't know if there are more, smaller named people that contributed or not. Either way I can't wait to check out the depth of the world :)

My friend with the modded 360 got it this morning and I'm gonna hijack his controller the moment I finish classes today. :D Impressions tonight!

In terms of mission set, as I call them (X number of missions from an individual), it depends how far into Los Santos you are right now.

San Fierro has 4-5 sets of missions to go through until you unlock "T's" missions. You gain access to the airstrip and flying school through doing those missions.

From the leaked vids I've seen it looks like you won't be able to shoot him though. I'm guessing you sit down at a table and it activates a cut-scene... unfortunately.
 
Ricky probably had something to say about that.

Also, continuity issues. You kill a pedestrian or a cop, there's always plenty more. They can't exactly just make another Ricky Gervais.

Be cool if you could heckle him though. "THE OFFICE WAS SHIT!" :)
 
Watched a couple of the vids (though sadly they are all gone now). Game looks suitably impressive. I feel a tinge of envy for you lucky console owners ;)
 
I was flapping earlier, I lost my GAME preorder slip (mustve ripped it up thinking it was a receipt when I cleared out my wallet a few days ago).

Went into GAME and explained, so the guy phoned up the help desk and asked for confirmation of my preorder, during this time about 11 people came in asking when GTA4 was coming out (lol), and he said yeah thats fine you preordered on the 6th of this month...so he gave me a blank receipt and handwrote a confirmation for me saying I HAD preordered.

We just had general small talk about GTA4 as I was closing my wallet etc, he said they got it in stock TODAY (Thu) and that hes going to try it out tonight, the bastard. I leant forward and said quietly 'you dont do early releases do you?', to which he laughed and said 'nah, we'd get slaughtered if we did that'.

Im going to the midnight release on monday now that ive got the slip back, my midnight release virginity will be broken, I cant wait damn it!!!

Well, ah I have access to the Big Smoke mission were you chase a train with San Fierro Latino gang members on it. And I just beat the Ryder mission were you get on a train and throw box's in the back of Ryder's car. Does that help to tell how far I am in Los Santos?

That's still pretty early in the game.

You do more missions in Los Santos (I'd hazard a guess at around...10?) then you do a few more sets of missions in the Badlands, then onto San Fierro, then into the desert where you will gain access to the flight school.

It'll be a while :(

And so, the wait is on.

With 5 days to go, I managed to order a bundle.

Playstation 3 + GTA IV = 319GBP.

Playstation 3 on its own = 299GBP.

So I'm basically paying 20GBP for GTA IV.

Wow, I hope mine can be for Tuesday. It does say that it will be dispatched in time for delivery on release day.
 
I've heard of Prodigy, The Rapture, Busta Rhymes, and Bob Marley/Damian. But I've had a listen of the other stuff on Amazon and it's not awful. :)

here is how im going to pass the time.

It's Thursday, which is basically Friday, and Friday im going to get hammered, which will bring me to saturday, in which i will be drinking again, and probably smoking green vegetable matter, then you have sunday...probably doing nothing different...then I have to work monday but took tuesday off.

Tuesday is basically tomorrow when you think about it
 
My favorite moment in GTA:SA was when I shot down two jets with the P51 Mustang look-a-like after evading their missiles for a hell of a long time.
