Most likely GTAIV PC wont be out until 2009 Q1 at earliest..

Remember Rockstars said themselves RAGE was never developed for use on PC, so they'll have to 'port' the engine to the PC.

Whereas previously they had a middleware engine that was already adapted for 'straight' porting to PC, now they're using their own.

Excuses excuses. I'm sorry the Rockstar teams aren't capable of designing a multi spec engine. Oh wait they are because the PS3 and Xbox are entirely different platforms. Whacking on support for the PC platform isn't a terribly hard stretch. Making it stable on a billion different hardware configurations however is. Don't buy everything you hear kids.

Well, at least that gives me time to save up the cash to upgrade my PC, and hopefully by then, Australia will introduce the R18+ rating so Rockstar can release an unedited PC version.

I like the minimalistic hud a lot. Though the minimap could be a bit more detailed.
 
I'll definitely be getting this. I've only played parts of Vice City, but GTA is a ridiculously fun sandbox.
 
Does anyone recall whether or not your own .mp3 soundtracks are possible in the console iterations of this one?
 
From what I remember it only worked with the console versions :p
 
It only worked in the PC versions and they've said that it won't change for GTA4, the only music is the stuff inside the game.
 
Speaking of PC versions, has there been much said about if/when GTA IV is going to be released for the personal computer?
 
Just saw my first GTAIV advert on TV.

April 29th... I'll have to borrow my bro's 360, unless he's buying it.
 
I was in EB a few days ago and there was a line of about 7 people trying to get pre-orders, but the soonest date they had it available was mid-May D:

Made me and my mate chuckle (as we both pre-ordered ridiculously early on)
 
Supreme Commander went Gold then was delayed I believe. May be wrong...
