I really need to pick up more of their EPs. Cichlisuite and Envane (the latter in particular) have such wonderfully bittersweet tracks on them.

Although their sold as ep's, Ae are known for releasing ep's as long as albums. "ep7" has 11 tracks on and is over an hour long.

"'84 Pontiac Dream" Boards of Canada

Yeah, I know that. I own ep7. It's the small, 3-track ones I've yet to acquire. Like the Basscadet EP or the Peel Sessions. Only one I have is Gantz Graf.

"Cap.IV" by Autechre.

"Draun Quarter" by Autechre, once more.

The ending is so beautifully melancholy.

Svefn-g-englar by Sigur Ros.

This song is so whimsical, it's almost impossible not to drift off into another place when listening to it.

I'm downloading a bunch of Autechre as well. Absin loves to build stuff up, but I also YouTubed some stuff of theirs and it sounds pretty solid.

Since when was "Absinthe" too long and requiring of shortening? :p

Amon Tobin - Dream Sequence

Boney M - Ra Ra Rasputin

God, I am such a vagina.

*hums "Rah Rah Rasputin, lover of the Russian queen" for the thousandth time in 24 hours*

"Sharkian Nights/Mouse Lounge" by Schoolly D

The music that often accompanies Shark's driving scenes in 12 Oz. Mouse. Simple yet captivating. I love it.

Sufjan Stevens - The Avalanche

Sufjan could release an album that just had him making fun of my entire life and family and I'd still listen to it because I know it'd sound beautiful.

Now that you mention it, it does.

Cipater by Autechre now. I really like this. The combination of the abstract beat and the melody ringing in the background is perfect.

Indeed. How 'bout Sin and Wish....Epic? You be teh judge.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication

Whenever I hear this song, I think it's about someone being fornicated in public.

Take That - Beautiful World album leak.

I don`t give a ****, I like this album.

Sufjan Stevens - Chicago (Adult Contemporary Easy Listening Version)

My absolute favorite version of the song, though the acoustic version comes close.
