On the Radio by Regina Spektor

I've been trying to branch out on my musical tastes.

Isis - In Fiction

Never a dull moment with Isis songs. This track just has so many layers and textures that it's really hard to comprehend when one part ends and another starts, but the climax at 7:08 is beyond beautiful. So much power in those guitars it's crazy.

The Other Ones - We Are What We Are. Seriously, does anyone else remember this song? They disappeared off the face of the earth for a long time, and I finally found a 45" with this tune on it. I guess they only made one album? Holiday was pretty popular, but I was nuts for this song.

311- Amber

I like this song mostly because it reminds me of a friend of mine, her name's Amber.

I heard that song on the radio. I thought it had a much longer intro though.

The Calm Blue Sea - A Man of Dangerous Dreams

It's okay, just got their friend request on Myspace... they sound decent enough.
They sound like a more guitar oriented EitS.

That's your song. I'm just kinda like wow. Never heard of these guys.

Outstanding lyrics, incredibly catchy song, trippy video. Really like it

That song is rather good, Ennui. I'll check them out! :)

Yeah, they're a new find of mine, some friends saw them at Bonnaroo and recommended them to me. The whole album that Time to Pretend is on is phenomenal.

sweet. I was afraid it would just be that one good song in their career or somethin. lol.

I saw them play live on youtube, they played very well, that's always a good sign.

They looked very young. Here's to a long career.

Akron/Family - Ed Is A Portal

Pink Floyd - Hey You

Really great song. The Wall is one of my favorite albums evar :D

Mikael Karlsson - Bad Company Theme

Awesome orchestral version of the original Battlefield Theme.

Eminem - If I Had

Got a loan of the Slim Shady LP which isn't as bad as I would have thought.

People are only hearing of MGMT now? Hmm they've been known here for awhile.

The White Stripes - Walking with a Ghost

Good cover.

MGMT - Time to Pretend
Edit: Now listening to Electric Feel, again by MGMT.

Just finished listening to Weezer's Pork and Beans. That song kicks ass!!!! :D

Time To Pretend by MGMT

Damnit Ennui. This whole album fantastic.
