Chemtrail - How to Fly a Car

They have the intensity of Mogwai and the soothing sound of EitS.

lol Virus I used to love MJ when I was a kid. My friends and I still listen to him quite a bit. Once you get past the child molester part his music is pretty insane (in both the weird and awesome senses)

Ott - Splitting an Atom

I didn't know they ever proved he was a child molester. I'm not sure though. I'm not even sure they proved he was a pedophile, though it's obvious he is.

Thin Lizzy - Cold Sweat

Elbow - Grounds For Divorce (from the album The Seldom Seen Kid). Excellent local band!!! Rock on, Elbow!!!! :D

The Books - Enjoy Your Worries, You May Never Have Them Again

Headstrong - State

my head hurts, it always hurts when
i'm crowded like a brainless little piggy in an abetoire
but can you really blame them for thinking
armageddon's swiftly making plans to crash the party at midnight?
and come the daylight, we'll make a monkey out of satan
dusty rubble under double purple suns
and while the zealots start collecting two of every animal

we'll see what we've never seen
and we'll say what we never say
and we'll know what we've never known
isn't today like any other day?

is this the legacy you choose to leave behind?
is this the legacy that you will leave me?

and pull it back, boom and surprise you're alive
i can't believe we survived another new year
something i don't see happening, deaf embassy
of the new world order form opinions of their own
on their own and this monolithic coughing fit will take it's toll
and if you think about it hard enough you can make it go away

and we'll see what we've never seen
and we'll say what we never say
and we'll know what we've never known
isn't today like any other day?

is this the legacy you choose to leave behind?
is this the legacy that you will leave me?

bridge (sung vocal no words)

you'll watch the shot glasses fly as the kids all expectorate
down on the people walking under the bridge
in a bright yellow way wailing upward at the sky
"control, control, control, control"
and the mothers holding babies holding bottles holding secrets
in a mercy fight with time and we're losing…
you'll buy and "end is near" t-shirt for thirty bucks and change

just wondering... does anyone actually care about what anyone else is listening to?

yeah, i do, and thats the assumption im working under when post in this thread

MGMT - The Youth

Been listening to Rush a lot today.

Permanent Waves. I never had this album; I just got it from my brother. Classic Rush. Nothing like them.

This album must be an EP; only 6 tracks.

Bell Biv DeVoe - Poison

Classic rap. Back when it was actually listenable and original.

That song isn't rap is it? It was R&B /pop as I remember it. Shit that song is about 20 years old.

One I'm listening to is even older:

Genesis - Firth of Fifth [1973]

Boys and Girls by Good Charlotte

I remember listening to this album when I was 12 or so. Good trip.

Mudvayne:The end of all things to come- Not Falling and Patient Mental.

Probably the only pure metal band I like. Has a philosophical twist to the lyrics and is not just incoherent screaming like most.

"I'm like a clock upon the wall. Always moving, but never going anywhere."

"Mirror mirror upon the wall I'm asking you, who's the most confused of them all?
Do you reflect me, or do I refect you? Are you trapped inside another world? I WANNA BREAK THROUGH!"
