First of all..the bible should not be followed to the letter. And that quote from the bible says that if you love your family more than Jesus or God, you are a piece of shit....basically thats what it says..REMEMBER SOMETHING!!

The Bible was written by PEOPLE! and not GOD! Your quoting a book of faith and not a rule book. I believe that God is very different from the Vatican, or what the Bible says. You CAN NOT!! point at the bible and say "this is what god wants" because it's not! Like I said before..Life is more important than following what the Vatican says you should follow. What I believe is that God is seperate from the religon in the sense that God probably does not read the bible.

The bible nothing more than a book of faith and should not be a direct link to God in anyway. God is not a book.

You know, those four apostles, they actually wrote their parts after Jesus died. So whatever they wrote, Jesus didn't even have a chance to approve of it.

That, and the fact that the bible is over 2,000 years old and has been rewritten countless times leaves for small spelling errors that could have a huge impact. This has been proved by a research team (They compared the oldest copy they had with the most recent copy in the same language and found numerous inconsistencies.)

The Bible is a book of guidance, not a book of rule.

Personally I want to be more then just an average joe, so my purpose in life is to excel at everything I do, make good money, be nicer then everyone else and live a long and happy life.

I know peoples lives dont really mean much compared to everything in the universe so I strive to be someone you will read about in a book or who kids in the future will know.
