If you spend a 100$ on a hardware upgrade or treat your wife to a fancy dinner, someone could very well tell you that you that it was a waste of cash and that you should have given the money to a charity instead. How would you react? Do you see what I mean? And to be clear yeah I also do think it's stupid to send'em cash for pizza.

I'm not making this a personal thing, I just dont like being lied to

anyways your example is not the same thing. My wife is my wife, Valve are total strangers who have their share of money...they are not needy. Pizza will take away a momentary hunger, a donation will be remembered for a long time. My company still has thank you letters from a hospital for children that's 5 years old...the boss would never take it down because he was proud he could help someone

If people here are so upset about how people are sending money to buy Valve a lunch then why don't they organize something to allow donations to be made in Valves name that will all go to some charity?
