The sims 2

Haha suicide that pwns! :cheese:

I dont see why people say this games for sado's with no real lifes...isnt this just an alternative to a game like Rome:Total War? or Command and Conquer or Warcraft?
 
My sim is a badass now.

The whole sleeping with the maid saga is over....long story short...they're both dead because I wanted them to be...and my child (an accident mind you) has been taken away by child services...and I couldn't be happier.

I reached the pinnacle of the Culinary job line. I'm a famous chef now. I work 3 days a week...and each day I pull down $2,200 or something. I had been saving for a while and I finally moved out of my house into the $236,000 mansion in Pleasantville. This place is huge. It came furnished quite well. I just blew my extra $60,000 on flat screens for each lounge area and a speaker system that runs through the whole house.

The first thing my sim did when he got to the house is run to the nearest bathroom and just play in the tub :p. He's weird. I like being at the top because now I don't have to bother trying to keep 7 friends happy at once while working on skills and such, keeping my aspiration meter up, and keeping my mood up as I go to work. Now it's easy street.

When I hit max creativity I painted a masterpiece and sold it for $500+. The next thing that popped up for aspiration goal was to quit my job so I could write novels and paint full-time....screw that.
 
hehhee.... my G-man has been platinum for a while now... he just keeps getting promotions, its crazy! my mood meter it stuck at full because im doin loads of aspirations ;)

this game is teh fun
 
Ben Affleck :LOL: yeah he was a pain in the ass, so I just dumped him in the family bin hehe. I started over, created a new sim who's neat and tidy this time around and with monetary aspirations :)

One night she ran out of food and she had left was the bar, she kept going at it like an alcoholic :LOL:

arg, I have to wait until my birthday (sunday) to get it! Ive already got the sims 2 body shop, and made myself to be put into the game. After I get it, im going to design a kickass gordon (hev suit and all)
 
i cant use the cheats :(. Every time i press Ctrl+Shift+C Nothing Happens :(
 
Did you try both the Ctrl and Shift keys to see if maybe one of them were broken somehow? If that happened I'd just take another one of my keyboards and hook it up and if it still didn't work I'd give up lol.

does the body shop allow you to model stuff then, or is it just the smae as the in game program the sims has. because you get very little choice of clothes, annoyingly. one of the worst things was that the PERFECT clothes for alyx, that looked exactly like the clothes she wears in screenshots, is only availiable for men. dammit!
 
Then make a man and call him Alex, Alyx's long lost brother.

the sims body shop allows for you to make your own textures, alpha maps and normal maps for clothes, but it doesnt allow you to model them. The alpha map shows which part of the clothes are shown (like if you wanted a t-shirt instead of long sleeve or something), and the normal map is...well, it's a normal map. Changing the textures is fairly simple too. It also allows for custom skin tones, and custom hair and eye colors as well.

you probably could model some clothes and then import them, but modeling is not a feature of ts2 body shop. And yes, those clothes that you saw that were for men can easily be for a woman as well if you use body shop. Just pick the clothes, and go to the file it tells you, and change all the names from "m" to "f", and bada-bing, bada-boom, they can now be put onto a girl.

cool. can you import sims that are allready in play, then edit them? if so i can make my freeman family look perfect... muhahha... muhhahah! MUHAHAHHA! *cough* sorry.

Maybe we should have a competition. Remember all those what do you look like threads? ;) Why not a competition for people to model the forum members using those posts to go on.. That'll teach people to post their pics :D

I finally got the game. My first character's been making out with some really hot blonde, she's got 96 on the long-term love interest meter.

I haven't messed with the family creator properly yet, well not the facial options anyway. Sounds cool.

I'd buy it now but I think all the stores are closed. Best Buy might be open until 10 on Saturdays though so I'll check the internet!

Well, I've just ordered it off Amazon. I haven't bought a game from a shop for ages.

My guy hit on this hot woman that showed up at his door... woohoo-ed her, invited her to move in... she brings her sister, and lots of cash! :eek: Now I can actually afford all the fancy stuff! :D And I got to see some lesbian action too... :naughty: Hey, she wanted to woohoo three people... and there was a woman there...
 
Well I was playing old school sims and my guy pissed himself and cried. Yea, I need to get the Sims 2 lol.
 
For whatever reason my Sims seem to lean toward homosexuality without me doing anything to provoke them.....it's so cute :)

I'm getting the game tomorrow. I'll pwn it harder than any game I've ever pwned before.
 
Sims 2 is one of the most polished games that I couldn't get into if somebody held a gun to my head. I played it at a friends for about 30 minutes, and for the last 29 I was telling myself: "this is the bestselling game of all time, you gotta at least like it a bit." No luck, I really really really don't like this game, for this simple reason: anything you do in it, you can do in real life (if you're stupid enough).

I play games because I'll never be a scientist with supernatural weapon abilietis or a World War 2 soldier, not too see some guy getting a shower.
 
If it's not your cup of tea then all the better for you. But we're gonna be in here enjoying it :p.

I guess some of us play for the sake of fun while some of us play to satisfy our imagination. Oh well...to each his own.
