Personally I do not like the Sims, but Nintendo just continue to do the correct thing. It makes me think as to how much market share Sony will loose. Everyone knows globally Sony has around 70-75% of the console market.
With the Wii as it is on release and the fact 360 is doing 'ok' it looks to take that down slightly. But how big do you think Nintendo will go? Sony does very little to attract other audiences apart from the ones it has. How much attention will the Wii end up getting? This really makes me wonder if the Wii is tapping into a next generation market rather than next generation graphics.
With the DS sales alone it brings Sonys market share down to 50% if Nintendo do what they have done with the DS but much bigger, imagen where that will lead. To this day the DS Lite has been out for so long in Japan but its still sold out EVERYWHERE! its very hard to get your hand on one and IGN and Gamespot even pointed out the fact the DS lite had larger queues than the PS3 in some locations. I know this is only Japan, but its still amazing.
Yes I'm a huge fan of the Wii, I own a 360 and already have a pre order for a PS3 (Europe) but there is so much good about the Wii going around at the moment it really makes me think as to how well its sucess will be. I know its crazy to say realisticly. But could Nintendo become once again the worlds leader?
