Things you liked as a child that embarasses the shit out of you now

Nooooo, you've got it backwards. If you're already living under a bridge or in a belltower you can talk as much shit as you like. It's in our union rights.

sorry but my contract clearly says you can fling shit but nothing about talking shit. get back under the bridge. <lights up cattleprod>

The union will hear about this!

*throws shit on the way out*

i listen to all that AND duran duran. well, I really like "Hungry Like The Wolf" but not much else. still, i don't see anything wrong with them.

Their 'sense of style' for starters.

Plus their absolute nonsense lyrics.

I must be chasing after rainbows
One thing for sure you never answer when I call
And I wipe away the water from my face to look through the eyes of a stranger
For rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down
Walking away like a stranger
From rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down in the eyes of the stranger
In the eyes of the stranger
In the eyes of the stranger

ABBA did better than that. And Benny and Björn aren't even native speakers.

My childhood was filled with spaceships, Police Academy and hunting pidgeons with whips and bows my dad made for me and my brothers.

I don't think there's anything I'm embarrassed about liking. I was a child and everything was new. I had to explore it all, or else what sort of person would I be now.

I suppose I did some shameful things when I was a child, but that's a different kettle of popes shitting in the woods.

this is embarrassing? your dad sounds like the kinda guy I'd have a beer with. a MANS man

btw when I first read your post I thought you said your dad trained pidgeons to hunt with whips and bows

you know what's embarrassing? I'm currently listening to the title song for the Never Ending Story

....our never ending stooooooreeey, a-ah-ah-aaa-ah-ahh-haaa

They were a bunch of ladies' men. Like 90% of male pop stars.

Mel B (Scary Spice) is totally hot now. She got all super toned up. Well she's hot if you like women who have abs and aren't all bones. I'd find a picture of her today but I'm being lazy. Find it yoself people.

Victoria Beckem kinda looks like an alien to me.

I don't know much of anything about the rest.

I still like all of the things I liked as a kid. I don't understand how you can like something as a kid and be embarrassed about it.

I watched the first Transformers, GI Joe, Flintstones, Scooby Doo, etc, and I changed the channel if something crap came on. We actually had to get up and press the button to switch channels. Not that remote control ****** shit where you sit back and watched Teletubbies. You should be ashamed.

Vegeta, you disappoint me most of all. Where is your Saiyan pride?! Your NAME is Vegeta and you're embarrassed about DBZ? When you took the name of the most badass character on the show? Are you stupid? Did you forget? Do I have to remind you?!
Like I said in my second post, I'm not really embarassed or ashamed of liking DBZ, and I never said ANYTHING about being ashamed of liking Vegeta, because he is obviously still an awesome character,
... and this video is one of the main reasons I loved him and adapted his name.

Spend most of your life ruled by another, watch your race dwindle to a handful. And then, tell me what what has more meaning than your own strength!?

I don't really get embarrassed about anything regarding myself. I love to laugh at myself.

So thats why I always hear you laughing in the bathroom when you're in the shower?

:/
Used to love that show when I was a kid, even though I didn't have any of the games.

I can't think of anything but Pokemon and:

I was actually was Barney once for Holloween. The costume was too expensive so as usual, I made my costume. I used my pajamas and got face paint. All I have is a pic of myself as a kid and I looked like a zombie. Scared the kids in school that day, lol. Oh and:

dabomb29, play some sonic games. Particularly any Genesis ones (minus 3-D Blast, it's better on saturn) and Sonic Adventure 2. All other ones are shit, though i've heard good things about Sonic Unleashed.

That guy from Linkin Park has a massive forehead.

wasting 20 years of my life in church and not having any girlfriends for middle/high school

master-caber's account has been inactive for 90 days. Visit photobucket.com.

Oh wait, I remember something, I had this Enterprise thing from Stark Trek the next generation that opened up and the inside was meant to be the bridge and it had little mini figures of the crew.

That was pretty embarrassing, I chucked it out years ago instead of donating it to a poor nerd though so my shame is double.

Oh yeah, and I had a toy Klingon dagger. :D It had those little side bladey things that flipped out when you pressed a button. Ah, my brief flirtation with trekkieness. The folly of youth. :)

The rage... the seething rage... boiling within...

This thread is about stuff that embarasses you, not "****ing awesome stuff I had when I was little and **** I want one now".

Things you liked as a child that embarasses the shit out of you now

Does it have to be a child or can you talk about your teen years, if thats the case; Porn

i liked the world when i was a child...

Most likely, Dragon Ball Z, Monster Rancher~~`who remembers that shit?

but most of the things i enjoyed when i was little are still cool today, not Barney though, he sucks. always did i guess

My 'Blanky'.

Basically, a purple blanket I carried around with me everywhere when I was a kid.

I then lost it when I was about 4 or 5 (lol) on the way back from France in the car.

Dad handed it back to me over his head, had the sunroof open, we were going quite fast so the wind caught it. He thought it was me pulling on it so let it go, and it flew out the roof onto the motorway...probably blinding some old woman in her car.

I laugh everytime I think about it. Dont remember it happening, but always makes me laugh at the story.
