Windows is optimized to the max.. no AA and i tried any resolutions and settings..

It DOES have a physics engine, and that's probably the biggest problem. Since neither your cpu or the memory will be able to handle it.

And what/how the hell do use RAM with ECC? I didn't know SDRAM had that as standard.

it is not standard.. i've been searching for ECC memory for a long time.. kinda hard to find.. and 80% of the motherboard that are ECC compliant are'nt really compliant lol

You barely meet the minimum specs regarding to CPU and RAM. Your videocard may be fine, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, which is your CPU.

Yeah, Valve sucks... but the game seems to be working OK for the majority of people... You'd be seeing a HELL of a lot more complaining here if that wasn't the case.

If you want more frames, upgrading is the only option... Sad I know. I can't even afford the game right now.

No but Intel sucks. Besides it's the same cpu used for all the HL2 reviews. Just with double the memory and a 9800Pro instead.
