Twilight Princess

c) Midna's weird little gibberish language is damn awesome.

I think you'll find that it is simplified japanese... at least that's what it sounds like to me.

Haha, on the note of the slow mo' charge of the goblin people... am I the only person to enjoy the cinematics in this game? In all the other 3D Zeldas, the cinematics have been sevearely... lack-lustre. But now they have facial extressions and everything... and some of them make me rofl. :p

I hope to god they never actually put voice acting in a Zelda game, it bugs me enough that I have to hear pre-adolescents clambering back and forth in Final Fantasy now, just let me interpret the people in the game the way I want. One of the few places left to the imagination in modern gaming.

Agree whole heartedly.

Just got to the Zora's frozen home and it felt like a nice place to stop for now. Loving every second of the game so far. I just wish I had more time to actually play it.

Just got to the desert and making my way to the next temple. Loving this game.

No voice acting please... I don't want Link saying "Well EXCUUUUSSSEEEEE MEEE Princess." Just no.

And the cinematics do rock. The Goblin people on their hogs running into Kakariko was amazing.

What I think they should do, is make up a full Hylian language... allow the characters to speak that and continue using the text... except they are now subtitles :)

I love the new cinematics... makes it so much more epic. Beating the boar and having Link rear Epona up with his sword in the air was aweshens.

Also, I've managed to clock like 25 hours... but I've only just got the Master Sword and I assume I still have 6 dungeons to go... so I guess this game is as massive as they say :O

I got the master sword at 15 hours...

But I havn't been doing many sidequests....

Just finished Snowpeak Ruins (35 hours now, but I've been doing a shizz load of exploring/sub-questing)... man was that boss boring. I mean, I found the rest of the dungeon to be a nice change of settings (being a mansion it took me off-guard)... plus the yetis, enemies and puzzles were awesome... but the boss was such a letdown :(

Oh, and that puzzle with the 3 steel crates and the switch in the center took me a good half an hour to finish... I got completely stumped by it D:

I've just finished Arbiter Grounds, man, fun place.. But as always, the bosses are a lil' to easy. Fun to fight though

So what kind of side-quests are there to do? I mean, apart from finding heart peices and bottles. Nice to have, but I'd like to do something for a person other than just finding a cave of monsters, killing them and moving on.

There is bug finding the Blatant-Drug-Reference-Girl (TM), Poe finding for the creepy guy made of gold, STAR, the Cave of Ordeals in the Desert which has the only fairy fountain in the game at the end, the Goron fund quest (basically finding crap-loads of Rupees and handing them to the Goron in Kakriko), which in turn gets the magic armour, there is an enemy filled mini-dungeon near Lake Hylia, there is the rupee-obtaining Cuccoo flight minigame at Lake Hylia, White Water Rafting un-blocking miniquest, snowboarding race, hot spring water quests.... there may be more.

Finished it two days ago. Replaying already.

One thing disappoints though - the ending. Again. Love the games, hate the endings.

I clocked roughly 40 hours with the game. And thats with sidequests. I even managed to get enough heart pieces to almost fill the life meter (I had 2 hearts left, which is 10 heart pieces I never recovered.)

Fishing and the most annoying game in the entire world; Rollgoal.

I'm nearing the end and I don't know whether I should hold off the final battle until I collect everything, or just go ahead...

I hate all things about fishing including Rollgoal. Although the girl is pretty fine. :naughty: Plus it is practically the only place that 100% confirms TP takes place after OoT.

I SAY CHAPS, SPOILERS AHOY!

Well, I just got up to Ganondorf Ganondorf (the one with the sword, which I assume is the final fight) and I let him beat me into a pulp, just so I can relive the lead-up to the fight over and over again... it was so damn epic. I mean, I had doubts considering Zant was terribly disappointing as his awesome mysteriousness turned into Majora's Incarnate/Skull Kid, although the whole changing environments was damn cool. I still haven't finished the fight yet, which I shall do tomorrow.

Other notes:

a) The Temple of Time (in my opinion) sucked monkey balls.
b) The events in between Snowpeak and ToT were too slim.
c) Hyrule Castle and the whole Ganondorf fight pretty much redeem any previous flaws.
d) Fighting possessed Zelda was a nice twist.
e) The boss for the City in the Sky was epic.
f) The Cave of Ordeals is hideous... the reward was extremly underwhelming considering I already have a bottle of Tears you winged bitch!
g) I haven't gotten all the poes (Only 47)... where the **** are they? D:
h) ^^ Except with bugs
i) Getting all 20 hearts was extremely easy, I was actually disappointed.
j) I'm hoping there is a reward for fishing and rollgoal... as well as some mighty impressive ones for the bugs and poes.

The Temple of Time was one of my favourite temples! Also when you killed the boss it was funny...

The expression on Link's face when it started to run was priceless
