University

We can definitely see this chap was not influenced by Gordon Freeman :) Good luck with that, rough course

I used to be a career student. I have several diplomas, certificates, and degrees.

You didn't answer the question.

We're scheduled 22 hours, but we're expected to an extra 20 on our own. So is your 40 scheduled or in total?

In total: Nothing set in stone, but as long as we're in between 10:30am and 4:30pm most days, then make up 40 hours whenever outside of that, we're ok.

What sort of company do you work for?

Oh, I see. You're working. I missed that part.

No, I'm currently in university. My company last year had a similar flexitime, though, although we had a 37 hour week.

Ah yes.
Are you finding uni more difficult or less difficult than work?

13 hours a week and Mondays off... 3 day weekend :D

I will need that spare time to finish off assignments and reports, which they completely flood you with on a weekly basis.

****ing Freshers' flu. Didn't get it last year, but it's royally ****ed me up this year.

I feel for you brother, I've managed to contract it as well! Feel like absolute death at the moment... I blame all those dirty, dirty new people on campus.

Ah yes.
Are you finding uni more difficult or less difficult than work?

It depends. It's certainly more expensive than work. And the lack of an income is a serious bummer. However, it's good to be back in a learning environment. Less direct pressure from clients and such. Downside is I have to work outside of hours.

My timetable:

MON: 3D For film: 9.30AM - 12:30
TUE: Computer Games Design 2A Lecture: 4PM-5
WED: Day off
THURS: 3D Animation 9AM-12 3D Facial Modelling: 2PM-5
Friday: Computer Games Design 2A Practical: 11AM-1

Not too bad I guess, gotta do a lot of extra hours in my own time though.
Also my level design module got cancelled due to lack of staff :( thats why I'm doing 3D for film on a games course.

Shit, that's one sneaky-lazy-ass-course you got there! What uni is it at?

Staffordshire University.

And yeah, it's pretty easy lecture/tutorial-wise. 3D for film on monday was pushed back half hour to half 9 cause nobody liked the 9am start lol.

I do need to put a lot of time in out of my free time though D:

I can imagine. Map work and game design can be a chore. Unless you're Pi.
