Just gonna say this;


We're not fighting the Islamic religion, we're not fighting the Iraqis, we're fighting terrorists. If we have any hope of winning this war we need to stop giving everyday Joes reason to hate us. In an area as religious as Iraq weeing on their holy book is not the best way to go about this; doing this kinda thing makes the west look like the monsters the terrorists make us out to be, and gives people more reason to hate us, and want to become terrorists to fight off these invaders who disgrace their religious practises.

And no, it's not as bad as cutting people's heads off. But we're not terrorists. We're meant to be decent people helping a country out, or at least thats what I've been told. Let's start acting like that's what we're there for.

Learn to think for yourself, do you really think invading(illegally) a country, with no substancial army, or organsied defence. And mainly killing civillians in the tens of thousands is going to help people. The entire US stratergy from the sanctions to guantamano is creating more enimies of the USA. With no real reasons. And I quote an American I met: "Whys are oil under there land?".

I was trying not to bring this debate into the "Is Iraq justified" area. But just so you know I too am very much against the Iraq war, and agreed that this is creating far more enemies than its killing... although it will be interesting to see what it's like a few years down the line.

Was the American you met suffering from a speech impediment by the way?

By the way, please don't assume I'm not thinking for myself on the basis of a single post that just so happened not to boo down the Iraq war.

Yep. Thats been my viewpoint all along. I have nothing against Islamics or Muslims. I just wish that difference could be conveyed in a manor thats appropriate and accepted.
 
Maybe you should see the civillian to terrorist death ratio. Then you will know who you are fighting.

Its not the actual burning of the quran that pisses me off (well it does) but it is its symbolism, as US launched a war on Islam two years ago, now its becoming all too obvious for me....
 
And whats funny is the media are trying to justify the act by saying blatent bull shitting lies like the piss came out of the vent which happen to be above the Quran....

It has been proven they were not insurgents, one was skipping like a child much shorter than the other two. The father was definetely a farmer, the clothes they were wearing is typical of an iraqi farmer trust me I have been there...

I know the "rules of engagement" quite well. And if you had seen the whole video, not the shorter one that most people seem to have seen, then the pilots were well within limits to blow them away.

Yea, I have the full version of that video you guys are mentioning. The full version shows them throwing weapons in a field, and loading more onto the truck, which is ironically in the short video, shot up along with the surrounding insurgents.

No retard you cannot kill someone if he is not fireing at you, first you ask him to surrender at least, those guys (who were civilians) were no threat to an apache helicopter therefore the pilot is has just commited crime in front of your screen. Most people in the world may I tell you support the iraqi resistance in iraq.Nobody gives a flying ***** how many US troops die, I hope more and more are killed each day.

Besides there is a strategy behind the murder of innocent civilians. Drawing out the insurgency, which by a majority are foreign fighters.

EDIT: Not that I agree with it, but civilian deaths are unpreventable.

You have allot of growing up to do. In war you don't get a 2nd chance and if you do your very lucky. A military's objective is to eliminate any military threat to them, the pilot was given a order to eliminate the threat. Morons like you get people killed.
