Ut2004

I remember scorning this game when it was first announced.
Now I just preordered it at EB Games ($20 for special edition after rebates and stuff).
For $20, I just treat it as an expansion pack for UT2003 and I think it's perfectly fair.
 
I just played 20 rounds of Onslaught and my eyes are burning. I love this game.

Not sure I guess you take it with you to the store..? Or maybe mail it in?? Who knows..anyways who thinks that text-to-speech thing is hilarious? Oh man the fun Ive had with naughty words :LOL: .

It's nice, but nothing new comes out of it.

I just don't play much online, I need a story to compel me to play more.
 
Meh, I just spent 30 minutes getting owned by Abom:(:p
Still, it was very fun, though I prefer Onslaught over DM:)

EDIT: Btw, is there any point in buying it? Will there be mods? I've never played any of the other Unreals, so I don't know what to expect.

Ut2k3 mods should be easily ported over to Ut2k4, so that's a good start. I imagine that there'll be tons more. But over 100 maps in the full game should keep me occupied for a while ;)

They've prevented use of some of the higher settings because of the demo size (and probably reduced some texture quality), so in some parts it'll look worse, yeah.
 
Nope.

I didnt liked 2003, 2004 is a little better, not worth it.
 
It does rock...I lub Onslaught :D *owns everyone with the Lighting Gun* Not really...my highest score was 43 kills.
