I know what you mean. I really liked it to begin with, but over these past few days my excitement for it has grown exponentially. Bloody fantastic stuff!

I don't really count ONS scores myself (don't know if you do either, just assuming), I mean, considering it's a game mode where you can get 4 points for doing stunts in the scorpion and can rack up tons of points by going around activating nodes... but in terms of teamplay and general ability, yeah, I rate you and a few others around here quite highly on ONS

I find Ons the most fun mode in ut2k4.

We need to get an Assault server going. I'm getting a bit sick of round after round of the same map of ONS.

Yeah, the server needs to rotate the maps and gamplay modes... a bit of variety would be good.

No! Include zee deathmatch! It doesn't take but a few minutes anyway if you set the kill limit to 25 or something.

Assault is the best. I lub the mayhem that ensues when the doors need to get bombed open, or just after they've exploded.

I haven't even played DM or TDM yet. CTF was okay. The Bombing Run map sucks though, used to be my favorite mode in the UT2k3 demo.

Download X-Fire, add people's usernames from this thread, then wait for people to start playing a game and follow them in.

But I also suggest you come visit us in the IRC channel on quakenet - #halflife2.play - it's where all the discussion goes on and the organising. Good fun!

You're not supposed to connect to #halflife2.play, connect to irc.quakenet.org then join #halfelife2.play

It's ok.. anyway with mIrc it can take a minute or two before you can join channels when you connect.

Yeah, I was on a server with Hunter and Ray, with about 16 others, and it was shit, just gun-spamming :/

This is why I'm going to like Doom 3's 4 way DM
