Holy shit, I should dickslap you all for your disrespectful attitudes towards Glenn. And the rest of you just for association.

The guy has an opinion. That of "He doesn't like guns". And also that of "I think real guns on a computer game site populated by minors is a bad idea". Hell, he's not going "you should die for showing that picture". He's disagreeing. Just like it's SIG's right to like guns, and post how he promotes them, it is Glenn's right to disagree. Don't pillock around painting Glenn as some sort of oppressor. I hate you all.

I wasn't one of the opinion-stompers, I'm pretty sure drugs are worse than guns when it comes to America's youth, and if I'm wrong than I stand corrected, apologies go to those involved.

I'd have to agree and further say you preach more than most Baptist pastors and it's definately not limited to this thread. I'm not trying to insult you it's just how you come across to me. You do seem to be a very nice guy though.
 
yes but personal opinions aside we were talking about this thread ..as to whether I preach or not well I'm not exactly the best person to judge whether I do or not ...I dont try to be heavy handed about it but mostly I post to dispell inaccuracies or downright disinformation ... cant help it if I insert my POV into it every now and then

Obviously i was expecting you to interject and fight your corner SIG, but we seem to just get the gun-bandits riding around on their high horses with their condescending posts, which is disappointing. I think i've said all can say now, and that some of the things i mentioned you have digested (SIG and Ova...who infuriated me with his wasteful post). Hope you enjoy your boys toys if fun is what they are meant to be.

What's the point in repeating myself? You already posted your position and I did mine. You pretty much repeated yourself. Should I repeat myself again? I it would be is the exact same thing back and forth maybe said slightly differently. I find it best to just start ignoring things to a point. You already said pretty much all you had to say in your first post.

Oh and I will enjoy it. I have 2500 rds of South African 7.62 NATO surplus ammo headstamped 1980 I will be breaking her in with. I need to order a few more cases before the South African Surplus dries up. It's about the only affordable surplus ammo available anymore. You can still get other surplus but not at the price you once could.

I reload pistol ammo. I don't do rifle ammo, but I probably will eventually. Surplus ammo is so cheap though that reloading won't save a whole lot.

There are guns in HL2 yes Devin, they are not real and i don't see a connection (Jack Thompson wise). This thread is about a real gun. Yes theres sexually orientated material here too (usually closed), however things that are not will always be part of a childs life...at some point. Guns are not a necessity to life as you make it seem. I think its wrong of you to post them here as you could easily influence younger people. There is no way guns are all about protection. It's about ego and image as well. This appeals to younger people far more strongly, which is why i feel this site isn't a sensible place for it, and i hope you understand my point.

Sorry if i'm in the minority here but i find this incredibly frustrating that its just me and Stern it seems that dislike this culture and following of guns, and that scares me even more.

Hey buddy, it's not crack. In no way will this thread "influence anybody towards guns" but if it DID it's not negative. Everything SIGBastard does so far that I've seen is ultra-responsible, he's even sprung for a behemoth of a gun safe that keeps his house secure with his newborn baby. If there's anybody's example to follow with firearms at all it's his, the only thing he shows is how to be responsible and safe with them.

Many of the guns in Half Life 2 are real guns, too. Not all of them are science fiction- they hold just as much (if not more NEGATIVE) sway about guns than SIG's post. I hope you feel just the same about anyone who trains in martial arts or with weapons like swords, knives, etc- exact same situation. MAY A KATANA NEVER BE POSTED HERE AGAIN!

Point is, this thread shouldn't have been turned into one that belongs in the politics forum, so if you have an opposing opinion just keep it to yourself or make a thread in Politics if you feel such a need. This thread was for us to drool at his new gun, because I'm sure most of us here have atleast a small fascination with guns.

Who said I wasn't opposed to guns either? But, I'm not going to try and say I'm more moral than a person who owns a gun. Its not like he's out every night, shooting people in the face with a semi-automatic rifle.

Personally, i'm not a gun guy.. never will be, when I see guns - I think of violence. And not the virtual, fun, kind.

Except it's impossible to post a topic in regards to firearms without someone hijacking it telling you you shouldn't be allowed to own it.

The thread I made about advice on buying either and SKS or AR15 was derailed in the FIRST reply with a condescending question.

I don't know yet. I'll let you know when I reach a sufficient amount. My best guess is when I can't remember everything I own without looking through multiple safes I'll be getting close. Right now my safe is pretty much full. I am going to get at least one more pistol but it may be awhile as I am in the process of buying a house with land. I am getting enough to cover the closing costs and down payment from selling my house but I will need a riding lawn mower, chainsaw, and a bunch of other stuff so money will be tight. I don't think I'll really add much to my collection until I graduate and then I may go crazy:cheese: .

My next pistol will be a Desert Eagle .50AE. There's absolutely nothing practical about them but it'll be alot of fun to shoot. I already have reloading dies for .50AE. I wanted one before but the ammo is like $1-$1.50 per round. Now that I reload it'll be somewhat affordable.
