What did you do today in Oblivion?

I snuck through a wizard's tower, occasionally marvelling at how cursed the AI was when my apprentice and murderer would rush forward to hack at conjurers who would summon atronachs to smash them to bits.

Beat the game yesterday. Really surprised at how amazing flat it felt. One of the most....unsatisfying endgames ever.

Made a new character, a cute wood elf. Ran around and picked flowers to make potions to sell in the Imperial City. :D

On the day I tell people jokes. If they don't like them I will put an axe through their head in the night.

"Hi. I don't like you.
"BOASTCOERCEADMIREJOKE"
"Oh, hey man, you cool!"
"BOASTADMIREJOKECOERCE"
"Woah, I've never seen someone so awesome like you!"

It whould be cool if you where to become the emperor.

I've been playing around with an item duplication glitch on the 360, selling around 150 enchanted rings at 800 gold a pop.

Now if I can get my fame up more I'll be eligible for the property in Skingrad.....

I made a Khajiit Theif (Original, Right?), and while I was exploring around the Jurall Mountains, I came across quite a few camps, one of which included a few members of the Commona Tong (Enemy of Thieves Guild in Morrowind), and they didn't attack me, but they had Mithril greaves, and Mithril curiass, so I tried to kill them for the items, but died a quick miserable death....

I also did alot more things, but I can't remember them now :\

I've seen that too, they don't say shit...

Working on the Grey Fox's grand heist.

Ohhh, that's a great mission. :)

I found two things that were interesting.... both at the ruins of old forts.

The first one was semi-submerged in water, and had a skeleton at the bottom of the water with 2 stray weak potions of seastride.

The secong perplexes me....it was a fort called fort coldcorn, where I found a corpse and a chest containing a note with unclear directions and a key marked for great treasure... more details when I get home. :|

I also found a note. On a dead wizard. It told me to go down a street, and knock on a door. And have some money. Don't remember exactly what it said. I'll cheeck tomorow.

Any idea where the camps are exactly? I'd like to pay a visit to them. :naughty:

I downloaded Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul Mod and it feels like I'm playing a new game almost. I remade my previous character into a High Elf and went looking for flowers to make into potions. I got my ass handed to me by a bunch of Stunted Scamps(-_-) and ran away to Skingrad. I then found the Necrophilia Lady....

I believe there's a bunch of random notes that have no purpose beyond to add to the game.

The first time I talked to her, I just bought my items and left, once she said "What's the fine for it?" I just bought my stuff and left. Thats sick! :x How does a female perform necrophelia anyways?

Well, it's on the way from Cheydinhal to Dive Rock, I was trying to find Dive Rock, I looked on the map, and put a marker where I thought it might be. (I was surprised when I was exacly dead-on, too! :) ). So it's around there.

Watch it though, if you kill them you get a bounty, they are normal citizens, so it's just like killing a person in the city.

There are 3 of them, 1 has a Mithril Curiass, 1 has Mithril Greaves, and 1 has dwemer arrows.

...ok, so it's not levelled loot.

What were you doing exploring at level 3, anyhow? :P

I found a dead troll under a bridge, his suicide note is hilarious.Something along the lines of me depressed, not scary enough to be a bridge troll, me get drunk and drown.

The bridge is next to a destroyed boat and a panther if you know what I am saying.

Another thing was west of the Imperial city there was a late and a headless body with a love note and primrose on it. Seems that there is a Cyrodilic serial killer about , killing people and leaving primroses on them.

I completed the Fighter's guild quest line. A good ending I must say, the part at Water's Edge actually enraged me... and my vengance was swift and unforgiving. No talk, only blood.

Yes, I think the Fighter's Guild had a good ending, and the Thieve's Guild had a good written ending, and the Dark Brotherhood had a fun questline but a randomesque ending, and the Mages' Guild was scimped on.

I love reading posts of mine that are two years old.

It made my computer restart after exiting every single time, got irritating so I uninstalled and wondered what else I could've done with that $40. :|

Seeing this thread almost makes me want to install Oblivion yet again... if I knew I wouldn't be bored of it in 5 minutes flat.

I thought it was fun when it was challenging. Where I could barely stay alive fighting skeletons in some dungeon with 1 hand holding a torch and shit. So freakin Awesome.

As I started finding and equipping more and more powerful items, It started to get less and less interesting - not to mention I wasn't seeing new monsters anymore. Somewhere around level 30 It was like god mode. I had 100% reflect damage and 100% reflect spell. I can stand there and they die from attacking me.

Maybe I will start a new character when I have some time so I can have fun again.

They really needed to consider enchanted items better, like world of warcraft did. Also, there should always be some enemies out there that can hand you your ass.

They made the game so you can get to what - level 200? yet at level 30 you had seen it all, and conquered it all.

I got myself a suit of this:
