What language is HL2 from Steam if I live in Japan?

If your Steam is set to Chinese, the game will have Chinese subtitles and voice acting. It's totally freaking cool!

The Gman sounds especially menacing in Russian and German... (unless you speak the language, in which case he probably just sounds like your neighbor.)

Heh...I used to find Kanji a fun challenge to decipher..if you
are learning, don't you feel the same way?

It's like a fun code to decrypt, no?

We could use hiragana if you are genuinely interested, though...

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to read kanji on 1600x1200 res. Everything looks very small. ^_^
