Yep. Without her, Half Life would not be what it is today. Let's all give a round of applause to Laidlaw or whoever it was for creating this dynamic and immersive character. ;)

Eli in Episode Two, to provide interesting story plot turns and give Alyx some more character development, and then probably Mossman in Three, even though I don't think that will happen because Newell (I think it was him) said they wanted the deaths to really affect the player (insofar as possible) and Mossman's death wouldn't really bother too many people.
 
Ahaha, why is Gordon up there?

I dont think you would want the player character to die, then there wouldnt be Episode 3 (I hate the idea of playing from another perspective other than gordons).

Alyx - "Yeah? Well I work out, and do yoga to stay in shape!"

Mossman - Ohh yeah? Well I was a ... SCIENTIST!"

Alyx - "Yeah, well I'll make love to him so hard on the table that he'll NEVER orgasm like that with YOU!!!!"

Mossman - "... :eek: ... Yeah? Well sense we moved into the forest, you've gained seven pounds!"

Ohh yeah, the fight rages on!

I vote G-man. Despite being the coolest character, it would really open up the plot if he died (given there is a greater power).

He doesn't need character development. He's a development all on his own.

Anyway, I can't think of any character I'd like to kill off. I don't want Mossman or Eli or Barney to die....

So, I suppose Kleiner's going to die. It'd fit his Scientist MO.
 
There are multiple if not very many advisors, why does everyone treat them like they're characters, let alone a single character?

I AGREE! With the dog part. Kliener's th only one that's inclined to work on that rocket. Killing him off would make no sense, even though we find Dr. Magnussen there, he's gotta have SOME sort of help on it.

No one treats them as a character. However, a single Advisor might die in Ep 2.

Anyway, why isn't George W. Bush up there?
 
Eli is badass too. Don't see much of him mind, compared to others.
 
If Dog dies AND Eli dies, Alyx will kill herself. Besides Dog is badass and he is my favorite character.
 
Eli. He's cool, but I never really saw that much of him, and he seems a bit dull ATM. They could develop him more.
Maybe Alyx also, because I want to be on my own again, especially in those massive open-ended battles.

And I don't think we need to kill Kleiner. Just make him wear hot-pants to keep him interesting.

I want Alyx out because I want to play HL1 style. I am tired of Alyx next to me all the time. And in Ep2 she is also going to be with you almost whole game.

Well, Eli's is heartfelt family man, he is always worry about Alyx and Gordon and sometimes it's quite bothersome. I prefer Izzy and Judith.

D0G is big badass robot, he is like R2D2 and he can't make story interesting, his only potential is make some cool action scenes and funny stuff.

You can get Alyx out of being with you without killing her off. I hear in Episode Two you're on your own more often than in Episode One. I like having her around, especially in tough spots, but, I agree, there are times I would like being on my own. I think it was smart that they had Alyx stay out of the boss battles in Episode One, which they explained as giving the player more sense of accomplishment for defeating the bosses unaided.

Eli. He's not memorable enough. And there is that new guy to take his place. And he sounds like a real character.

Barney obviously doesn't have a role in Episode 2 and will therefore not be dying.
 
I'm suprised that Eli is beating Mossman, or rather, losing to Mossman.
 
It may go to show that people want the story to move along, and by killing Mossman that would prove impractical since few people really care about her as a character. Killing Eli would add more interesting plot twists and character development for other characters, especially Alyx.
