Who likes alyx

Alyx I think is cute and funny. Especially when she did the zombie moan. It scared me. I also was so worried when she was stabbed by the hunter, I thought she was dead forever, I was almost crying.

Alyx another person thinks is an awesome character
 
Not to that extent, but yes when i've been playing for little over half an hour and i get into the story, i do enjoy having her around.

I like Alyx, but I think she's becoming too much of a Mary Sue.
 
She's too positive, I want to see more bitch in her!
 
She is a very well acted character who adds a little more personality to the game.
From an ingame standpoint she is a bullet magnet who needs a lot of help in the AI
department such as using medkits and being able to pickup a different weapon
 
I liked her, until she let me escort the unthankful citizens to the train on my own in Exit 17.
 
Word- I like alyx, for staters her personality is great (funny, caring,ect), she's also VERY sexy.

PS- I know my username is alyxvance but im not a girl in case your wondering.

Alyx is awesome. She was the main reason I enjoyed episode 1 so much. And I actually panicked the first time playing episode 2 when the hunter attacked her. Goes to show how talented the people at Valve are to make a video game character that people care so much for.
 
I don't like her THAT much.

At least not my favorite character.
 
I do not like Alyx as I have stated before. I find her to be very, very irritating, especially when she's all soppy with you. But I have ranted about this before and so I will not repeat my rant.
 
I hate alyx she always makes the game too easy and she also kills guys im trying to kill in a weird way to get an achievment she sucks

Hey, it's alright. We're not judgemental around here- gender identity is such a loose subject these days, it's the 21st century after all. Whatever feels best for you is cool with us. If you want to be a girl- who's to say you shouldn't?
 
Anyway getting of a weird topic that should never be brought back alive ever again -_-, I personly like having alyx around in my adventures and stuff and like it when she gets into a synced kill with a zombie. She is always a nice support is played like so awsomly well, every character is of course, but sense you see alyx much more than anyone else, they realy worked on her character a development.

back to the main topic, alyx is VERY, VERY, SEXY
 
I didn't much care for Alyx when HL2 started. Ya, she saved me from a bunch of Combine, but that's nothing i couldn't have done if I had a crowbar.

However, in EP1, they really started to make her a major part of the story (basically following u around the entire game). Plus, they gave her a real personality; funny, loving, etc. The scene with the Advisor Pods was an amazing moment, not only in animation, but acting.

And then EP2, her character really set the mood and made me anticipate the next Episode. The whole, "How to cope" aspect.
 
Well if alyx's emotion of loving was covered in episode 1 and her "how to cope" attitude was covered in episode 2, then in episode 3 she should be realy bitchy and angry like she has here period or something......................that was sarcasm -_-

i actually agree, i personally think she's going to be more pissed then sad, she's too tough to show sadness
 
I like her. I do :)
But then again, I like almost all the rebels - even Magnusson. I did, as a matter of fact get... well, I supposed the word is "concerned", if you can get concerned about the health of a fictional character... when she got stabbed. As were, I believe, all of us. Valve probably goes around, trying and succeeding to make the Vance girl likeable. Heck, they'll do it to the rest of the characters as well (the 'good' ones), but definately not to a such a great extent, as the others (Kleiner, Eli, and even minor ones like Grigori) do not work with you for an entire game.

In spite of all this, in spite of - and maybe even because of - all this, I like Alyx :D I find her nice, easy to get along with, fun, and - in those scene where I'd quite happily go out and buy a real gun and find some real zombies to shoot (overexagerration) - she usually pops out a joke, or adds some humanity to the situation. Definately part of this is due to the quality of the voice acting, which I think that most people agree is top notch. Also, she's female (almost certainly. wouldn't that make an awkward scene in Ep3), and this fact alone will raise her in many guy's estimation.

There, now that's out of the way, is it odd that I prefer her in the jacket with the two blood marks on the back? As opposed to unharmed, I mean.
And, I am glad that she's back in Ep3, even though there should have been no doubt about it - HL2 without Alyx would be... well... I dunno what it would be...

i dont like the idea of Alyx being irrational and crazy because of Eli's death, i mean i know she saw her own dad having is brains sucked out by alien space-scum maggot things but she can still (just about) keep it together.
 
how can you wish that alyx and barney need to die? I like them both. They are so cool!
 
Alyx is alright. TBH I find her a bit annoying. I don't dislike her, but I like pretty much every other character more.
