Wii, Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

which will you get and why? personally i'll be getting the Wii, mainly because it just looks fun, i've gone for non nintendo thing before (psp over ds) and then regretted it because nintendo are just fun!

also ps3 just isn't even an issue with me because of the price. almost half a grand!
 
360 b/c of halo 3, GOW, Dead Rising, Alan Wake, many others
 
Wii.
Because of all the fun things I can do with the name "I had a great time playing with your Wii" and it's just so fun and cheap!

Fun Scale:
Wii > Not Wii.
Wii is just so cool.

This poll will either to go the 360 or Wii. No doubt.
 
xbox360 because of the choice of quality games at the moment and the graphics are pretty.
 
Wii because I'm a Nintendo fan boy. And because all my friends are getting one too.
Although arguably the second point could be a valid reason to get one of the others.
 
360 has been out over a year, you can't just say 'Which will you get?' as if it's not been released yet!!

As far as i'm concerned, nintendo and sony are latecomers to the next-gen party, and should suffer as a result. Sony need a spanking anyway purely for the way they treat their customers. I'm getting a Wii to go alongside my 360, but there's no way in hell i'd say it's better than it.
 
I'd say wii or xbox360.
Wii because of the fun factor of the controls and the Xbox360 because of the decent games coming/that are out for it and the support/features of xbox live.
 
PS3

Mainly because of games like MGS4, FFXIII, and whatever the next project is from the guys who did Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, also whatever the guys who did Katamari Damacy are doing

The 360 games that interested me are all coming to either PS3 or PC, so I have no worries there.


Besides, I drove around to at least 5 different stores just to play a PS3 for 10 minutes or so today. And it was everything I hoped it would be. Now I just need the money to buy one.... :)
 
360 without question even tho I'm picking up my PS3 next week. Played the Wii and well I just think it sucks. But its definitely a great device for those that dont have alot of money to spend. In the long run the 360 is going to win this war. I wish I could give specifics because I just did a case study on this for my finance class but its to much to try and explain.
 
I just played a Wii at my friends house about an hour ago, and I loved it. I'm getting this one as soon as I can.
 
the wii just bores the crap outta me, graphics stink and the sports get old
 
I'm getting a Wii in two weeks from now (blast us Aussies getting it on December 7th). I'm wiiing my pants in anticipation (HUR HUR HUR). Oh, and I'm getting one for all that first party goodness.

Might get a 360 down the track, but I want to get a decent TV before I do that.

How about - the Wii is a great device for those that like Nintendo games and party consoles. That sounds much nicer :)

Untill I can get my Metroid, Zelda, and Mario fix on another machine, each Nintendo console is a must have.
 
Already have a 360 and liking it for the most part. Not sure if I'm that interested in the Wii anymore, might get one sooner or later.
 
I have a 360, which is getting better all of the time. Live constantly gets updated and gets better, and the games coming are out atm are top notch.

I would like both a Wii and a PS3 as well, but tbh that's somewhat of a money issue. I like the look of both very much. I'll probably get a wii before i get a PS3 because 1: it'll be available sooner, and 2: it won't cost half a pc.
 
i still can't decide between the 360 and the wii.... does anyone know when it's being released in the uk?

The Wii's out on Dec 8th in the UK. You're too late to get one by then though since it's sold out everywhere. Amazon.co.uk sold out in 7 minutes, but luckily I got one in that 7 mins :cheers:

I think I'm right(Wii or 360 would win the poll)!! I also think the Wii will take the poll!
 
ps3 because I already have it, it has nearly every game coming to it, that i'd want a 360 for, it has all the functionality I want built right in for the same price as a 360 premium + hd dvd + wireless etc. Not to mention how much I'm anticipating MGS, DMC, I love it.

I used to wonder why the mods let the forums be filled with so much crap... I don't wonder anymore. :|
