What did the greeks ever do for us? Ok, so they had lots of philosophers...People ho sat and day dreamed. They thought about the world, birds, trees...and mostly probably, where their next meal was coming from and why they never kept towels next to their baths. Then they had people named after famous theorems, like pythagoras. Oh, and they have an alphabet stolen from the police, who use Alpha, Bravo etc etc...

According to the diskworld books god will die due to the fact no one will believe in him in about a centuary or two. Either that or heaven will get bloody empty since no one will be going there and hell will be transformed into some "uber" place where we listen to rock music, which is the devil's music and drink alchohol all day.

i dont see how its being selfish, wanting everyone to be free of suffering? isn't that basically what jesus did, died so that people wouldn't have to suffer?

also, it would be a bit selfish to forget about the people in the world that are suffering more than you are. these people don't want to suffer like you do.

bad things may always happen, but i can at least criticize the christian god's methods. i didn't ask to be born and go through suffering. i was forced. i was forced because god wanted companionship, but did he not see the other side of creating free-willed humans entails? if he did, then hes selfish because suffering does outweigh pleasure, and on top of that, non-existence outweighs suffering.

and id like to go in detail on the 'suffering outweighs pleasure part'. when you have a really bad headache or stomach ache, what are you think about? you're thinking man i hope this goes away soon this sucks, and you can't forget about it, those that have migraines can relate. but when you are comfortable, things are going well, its not as big of an impact on your life. its just expected. this is why i don't believe pleasure is worth it if there was a way to eradicate both pleasure and pain.

If we go with the god-made-us-all-and-everything, I think He made humans (quite) perfect but humans screwed up over time. Shit happens and people die. Which is a bad thing :(

My writing was confusing but live with it.
 
World piece is a bunch of bull.....human nature wont allow it. You can have peace in a country maybe, but world peace is a load of crap. Not only that, but it would never last

I prefer to say god screwed up because forbid that I have have to put the blame on my self, because that would mean I would have to take responsiblity and I'm just too lazy.

You have just proved the point I was trying to make. That some people will always find something to complain about, no matter what. Basically stop whining like a little girl and get off your butt and do something about your unhappiness that will NOT infringe upon the rights and happiness of everyone else. Get a hobby or something. When you are playing sport you are not worrying about politics or whatever else it is that gets people down.

Thats says so much about you...

You see pain(Physical or mental, as in thinking other peoples pain isnt worth it) in your life as more of a focal point. I see it as a mere interlude between the fun parts. Like the man above said, there are always people who are going to focus on the bad side of things, but you know what...You don't have to. You can choose to be positive about things.

By the way, why don't you get a labotamy...then you won't really care either way about anything ;)

i have been calm this whole time, man. and who said anything about boredom? i have plenty of things to do, plenty of goals. im far from bored, working on steam skins right now actually(hey its fun)

if you aren't existing, its not boring because you aren't doing anything. its like forever sleep.
 
If it were possible for me to choose somehow, I would choose to live rather than not exists, regardless of the pain I've had in my life.
