A new ad for what appears to be the long-rumoured Xbox 360 Slim has appeared on an Italian website - and if it's not official, someone's put a lot of work into creating a fake.

The ad shows a 250GB 360 in black - with sleek new ventalation on its side.

Who said it was a slimmer version? Maybe it's just a redesign to address the cooling issues. The actual dimensions are probably smaller, you can't tell by the pixely photo. It's probably going to go hand in hand with natal as well.

This is the same reason I hate new cars. I already have one, and I'm not going to shell out 15-30 thousand dollars to get a new redesign. Why are they even marketing such things to me?

I love my slim. It sorta looks like cheap plastic but in practice it's really sturdy, and DOES NOT GET DIRTY LIKE THAT SLEEK SHIT DOES ON THE FAT PS3.

Your not alone, but I never liked slim models of any console mainly for technical reasons more than aesthetics. As far as cooling goes, all heatsink and no fans only spells disaster and it's a stupid design choice for performance intensive electronics.

Every person I knew who had a PS2 slim for instance had trouble with them overheating. I never once had any trouble with my old, fat PS2 with all the noisy fans and I played the hell out of it. In the case of the 360 however, there's little worry that this design would actually cause more harm than good given it's already long rapsheet of unreliability, so I say MS might as well try it.

I've actually only seen a working PS3 three times. The ones on display are always broken, then fixed, then broken. Kinda strange, I've never seen a non-working 360 either.

Wow that thing's ugly. Built-in wifi is a plus, but that should have been in at launch. To be honest the 360 still looks classy as heck to me, the only crappy thing is that ****ing tray which... appears to be the same in this design. Woo.

I still dont know why they REFUSE to upgrade the hardware. Im taking they wont do an upgrade for atleast another 3 years. Games in 2013 built to the standard of 2005 technology. Am i the only one who sees something wrong with this picture? I dont understand the reasoning behind this :/ Thats like using Doom 1 technology in 1998 (around half-life release).
