That was pretty cool :) Can't wait to see this in bink format, or a higher res with better sound. The grenade/rocket that was launched at the chopper looked really sweet too how it seemed to be effected by gravity for a second, then propel itself forward realisticly - can't wait to use that in multiplayer :bounce:
 
I am not an IGN insider...right now i am calm and controlled, give me 5 minutes and all shall pay, where else can we find this please?
 
meh.... doesn't look as impressive as I hoped. Looks somewhat mediocre even. I'll wait for a better quality video.
 
You *can* stream it with WMP. But don't expect a connection. :p

looks impressive, but this is a trailer, not the E3 demos... this is sort of like the magazine screenshots, in moving format - they did the same thing last year. There was an early docks, tunnels, and a couple other clips that came out at midnight... then after that, the next day, the demo shaky cams came out... i think the game looks great.

also, the mp7, firing ridiculously quickly... and what a great train station.
 
So, is the Insider video the same 1 minute 19 second video, only bigger screen?

A train station, with passengers getting off..."Welcome to City 17..."An impressive courtyard....leaves on the ground, striders walking in the distance...An incredible canal.....A helicopter....and Dr. Vance. :D

It's looks very cool, by the way.
 
you don't have to be an insider... just go download the wmv version.

If you save as it's a lot faster. I was trying to stream it with QT and it was taking forever. Save as was 350kbps.


Edit: heh, little slow with my reply :) Helps if I read the posts intead of watching that clip 50 times.
 
jesus God just watched it again and it is awesome!!!! every little bit is just cool! the barrels getting kicked around the way it all moves, the water rippling as the shots come in. it looks soooo sweet.
 
Much difference engine wise from last years build?

EDIT: thats mad. Looks so nice in motion. Need more hi res stuff though.
 
I really don't see how ANYONE can say that it looks "mediocre" and use the sideways mouth faces that look depressing :\ - wtf? are you on crack? this is amazing, appreciate it =)

Um, how about no. I viewed the streaming quicktime 640x480 video, (and used "save source" in quicktime pro to save it.), and it looks great.

The boxes at the end really excited me. The time for release is drawing near!
 
It's poor quality..this will only lead to "0mg thatz cra4p sh17 kame"- statements that are no way related to the game itself..Wait for some better quality videos, don't DL.

Thats what I was thinking, but sadly I think that this type of teaser trailer is all we might get.

Last year was the tech demo, unveiling of Source technology, and Half Life 2 inital unveiling. That's the reason for the 15 minute demo.

I doubt that they'd release something that big this time round, to avoid giving too much away. Either way I'd like to see atleast a little more than whats in this trailer. It's a little too short.

As long as they annouce a firm *cough* release date, and hopefully drop some tidbits on mp I'm a happy camper! (no pun intended.)
 
It doesn't look nearly as good as their stuff from last year. I can only view the wmv, so I'll put my foot in my mouth right now and not take it out until I see a better quality video, but so far I'm very disappointed.
