Please improve spawn sites! Nothing worse the spawning into a crowd full of rocket launchers and crowbars. It'd be nice to have separate spawn rooms free from campers, snipers, etc to allow people to get their bearings before they run out gunning. Check out some of the CTF maps being served...

At least you're trying. Flashy maps are nice to look at, but too many people leave out balance and what not... looking forward to the release. :cheers:

Nice detail on checkpoint's outside area. xenvoid isn't my style, so no comment on it. Like I've said in a previous post, protect those spawn points!!! :naughty:

SLAMs dont seem to have much value to me... I play mostly TDM, and my teammates always end up shooting mine b/c they don't know which team's they are... I would think Valve would have made combine SLAMs have a blue beam, and rebels a red. (or maybe they did and mine arent working right)......

Can you protect the spawn points? One thing I hate is when designers stick spawn points in congested areas...u r toast b4 u know what hit you. Some CTF maps floating around have u spawn in a separate room guarded by a force field...good idea, more TDM maps should be like this just an...

I was more referring to always starting off with the grav gun equiiped. I want to start off with something else like the crowbar or machine gun....

Gotta go with stunstick, only b/c I prefer playing as combine. :thumbs:

Do you spawn with SLAMs or are they dispersed throughout the level? Greedy mofos must be taking them all... :cheese:

Anyway to turn off auto-switch when you pick up a new gun (e.g. keeping the machine gun active when you pick up a bow)? Also, can you change what you spawn with (stunstick/crowbar/machine gun instead of the grav gun? gracias :monkee:

I saw someone use a SLAM in lockdown. Don't have any idea where he found them at because I could never find them.... This update has caused my computer to lock up twice already (never happened before) and seems a bit laggy to me.... ;(

Is there a way to modify which gun you are spawned off with (machine gun instead of gravity gun)? Tired of all the deaths at the spawn while I switch guns.
