I think others have already mentioned this medic. I also try to keep her alive, she is quite useful and sometimes says a few particular lines, that I think no other npc's say. Also the guy who made the 2 hour long review of half-life, said the same thing about her. P.S: I keep playing HL2...

I agree, the ending will be even more confusing than the one from HL 1. It will leave us wanting for more and with more questions in our head, just like Lost does season after season.

I totally agree. There's no need to use a walkthrough in any HL game (excepto sometimes I got lost in Opposing Force or in the original Half-Life, don't really know why though)

Almost anything compared to Halff-Life is just pure crap; and Turok is no exception (the graphics, the gemplay, the characters, everything sucks). The fact that you can kill dinosaurs with the knife by just pressing one button, while shooting at them doesn't do that much damage, is ridiculous...

The blood effect is indeed different in episode 2 (it came with the new engine I believe). IMO, the new blood effect is better; the blood just doesn't paint walls, it feels more realistic

If I were you I wouldn't skip any part of the game (of any game at all, especially the HL series).
