This is what the PCGamer editor had to say about the forthcoming HL2 magazine previews:- Bit dissapointing they only played levels we've already seen, and that Gabe didn't give much away, but atleast it is better than nothing.

PCZone magazine doesn't seem to have had this so called email, as they are thinking that they will have a review next issue.

That would really piss me off if it was available to download via steam, but not available to buy in shops. Just because I have a shit connection and unable to get broadband, why should I be deprived of HL2 until after everyone else.

I sent an email to the retail store GAME about the version I would be getting with my preorder and just got the following reply:- So hopefully I will be getting the SP/MP, but they don't seem to know much about it and also still saying November, though the ad on their website is now TBC.
