Holy christ, want to skew that comparison any more? You choose the blatantly overpriced console, and the cards that aren't the pinnacle of graphics technology at the moment. As it stands, the X1900 XT-X hovers at £250+ and the 7950 GX2 £300+. The 360 is £210/280 depending on Core/Premium.
I took the liberty of removing everything that was completely and utterly unrelated to the matter at hand. Barring the point in hand that new-generation consoles have the functionality listed above (yes, the 360 does have limited DX10 support), you've missed the point that I was trying to make...
Heh. So, in my post where I said that consoles will eventually be upgradeable, you counter that by saying PCs will have the advantage because they are upgradeable. Well done.
All of which an Xbox can do right now.
Like what? 5 years ago, we had XP just releasing, older video cards, processsors, memory. I must have missed this revolutionary feature that seems to pop up for the PC every 5 years.
They won't always be, there's no doubt that next generation or the generation after that will do everything you list, plus have upgrade functionality. The difference between the Xbox/PS2 and PC wasn't too huge when they first released, it only took a few months for PC games to catch up. Here we...
I definitely think it's the other way round - is there a need for PCs for gaming any more? I can tell you now I'm certainly not as motivated to upgrade my graphics card or CPU for the same price of simply buying a console, and playing on that without having to endure recommended specs, CTDs...
It's just for easier navigation. Instead of wading through forums and forums of threads, you can check on the ones you especially want to in the User CP. It's perhaps not as effective on a smaller forum like this one.
Yeah, I know that, but I received no notification of it happening. I mean, an e-mail or something would be nice, rather than having to check Track regularly.
AAC, which I'm satisfied with. Probably because both my firm and insurance changed to unconditional offers days ago and I hadn't noticed. Thanks for informing me, guys.
I'm gonna pull an elitist remark and say they're pop-Power metal, even though I'm not a fan of power in the first place. There are a lot better power bands out there... listen to Sonata Arctica, Gamma Ray, Kamelot, Blind Guardian, for a start.
Well, it would be about on the same level as thinking leaving dead drivers installed with a different make of graphics card is alright. Yes, you should remove them, and then use a catalyst software remover to be safe.
Yeahh, that's why the Cube has a slot for a proprietry modem/broadband attachment. No Internet there. They were touting it all throughout the buildup, and release of the console.
