i thought you needed at least 2 cube maps for it to work one for each area of the transition.

when i use the light environment it gives me unrealistic shadows. for example i have bright green grass on the floor texture but when the light bounces off it it creates dark green shadows on the walls. how can i fix this?

make sure all your textures are in the /materials folder of hl2 or cs.

personaly i was not impressed with alot of this game. Why dint they add any zen levels? combine homeworld would be nice. maybe even have some new enemies besides recycled old ones and two types of headcrabs and zombies? one was enough imo. vehicles were cool but nothing new "farcry"...

why didnt they add at least one zen level? with the new engine they could have made some amazing zen worlds. also the ending of the game was a total let down... didnt explain anything didnt have any resolution, and there wasnt even a last boss! wut a rip...
