having realtime fluid dynamics in the way of CFD modelling for aircraft and other serious engineering applications... most likely not going to happen for decades. A simulations working with a lattice of a few million elements... would take trillions of operations, and that's a fairly course...
Someone was asking this a while ago. Here is a link to my response then, a step-by-step to get a standard spec HL2 door: Door

1.) what's a bouncy castle?
2.) what's are the 'blue origins'?
sry fella, I'd love to help but I don't know what the heck you're talking about. Give a detailed description of these things and you'll have more luck.
a good way to place players is to select the correct entity in the entity panel, and then click on a world brush in the 3D view. This will automatically place the player spawn 1 unit above the brush. You can then snap it to a grid spot in the top view if you like...
this doesn't work for...
I noticed that clipping problem. Whenever a player dies face down, their knees clip through the ground.
I noticed another issue, and that was that the names onscreen and in the console don't match up sometimes... It's tought to tell who dealt you damage bacuse it shows different names...
you guys really like your curved surfaces, dontcha? :cheese:
Looks like another winner. I'll have to agree that this is the least distinctive of the maps I've seen from your group so far, but meh... WIP, I'll assume. Keep it up guys, it's very exciting having a good media release every...
First, this is not the place to ask such questions. While you learn to use the forums, please post test posts and questions like this in the Newbie Central
From there you can click on the button in the top left that looks like:
And, I greatly suggest that you make a search before posting...
well, if you used a phys_constraint, that would explain it... you need a phys_length_constraint (or possibly phys_ballsocket or whatever). a phys_constraint holds things in a particular world position.
Well, to answer the question, no, this does not work. If you type
give weapon_shield
it does not produce an 'invalid entity' message or whatever everything else does, but nothing happens.
I very much doubt the shield will be re-added.
btw, this thread is ancient history.
not bad. The geometry scale and texturing on that indoor shot looks pretty wierd, though. The outdoor shot looks pretty cool though. I'd have to play it of course...
