Check all fans for operation and also check for any obstructions. BTW, what prog are you using to get the temp read outs? Everest imo is the best for it, but the readings are only as good as the sensors that are used.
May need to get one, but see how it affects your temps while running at default frequencies. Hope you enjoy it, it is always nice getting a new gfx card and playing your games alot better!
Not sure if this will help, but if you goto the control panel and then Java (I have an icon in there, not sure if it depends on what versions etc). Once there goto the Advanced tab and then expand the <APPLET> tag support option and make sure that the checkboxes are checked for the browsers you...
Ah right, so you need an AGP card. You are alittle more limited with a card then since you can only use the agp interface. 6800GT is probably the best agp card out there in terms of performance and value.
Dont think that you will see a performance boost but it should better than the onboard sound you are using just now. I found that I got alot of interference from onboard sound and when I switched to my audigy2 zs, it got rid of the problem.
960 by 720 follows the same pattern as the others, 1024/768 = 4/3, same as 800/600, 960/720 and 1280/960, they all come out at 4/3, which is just 4:3 right, not sure about that though.
When I had to do this, I used a trial version of Copypod. It does limit the number of transfers though, luckily I only had a few to do. Its a good prog though.
It really depends on what hardware you have for converting the signal from the console into something that the monitor can take. Not really clued up when it comes to this sort of thing, but here are a few google search results that might come be useful:

The only reason I have installed and use linux some of the time is because I want to get a decent level of understanding because it is something which is being used alot more in businesses and it would be excellent to say that you are comfortable in both windows xp, 2000, server 2003.. and the...
I heard they are pretty good. I'm thinking of getting an arctic cooler vga silencer for my gfx card. Had one on my 9800pro and it was so much cooler and quieter, think they release teh ones for the 7800gt/gtx's later this month. Will be so good to quiet the beast!
