The mobo should work with your ram, but the ram will run at pc3200 speeds not 3500.

Thanks to my processor, I can't really run 1280x1024 without lag, it lags up even in medium sized areas with no AA.

Yeah I think you should get the 3000+ instead, especially for games in which it will easily beat the P4 630.

Yeah don't even bother with 1.8ghz and I'm too tired to explain it right now (just set up new computers in my high school for 8 hours 9-5) but anyway the Athlon 64 3000+ will perform better than a P4 3.0ghz in games.
