Yeah, you sometimes get it a day before. Plus, they're usually cheaper online than in hmv, virgin, game etc. And they just come through the door, which is kinda handy, and less effort !!

I really enjoyed stalker. I finished it, but i got one of the fake endings. So since i got a new graphics card, which allows me to push those last few settings right up, i decided to play through the game again, and this time make sure i get one of the proper endings. Slightly sidetracked at the...
My copy has just been posted !

Love the demo, seems like a really great game. Not an RTS man myself, but this i enjoyed enough to buy. Another good review:

That would be great. My brother had one of those on his 6800GT and it did a good job. I would however recommend a newer version of that cooler for one particular reason:

My personal experience with the cooler you have posted (also...
That 500mhz figure is double to get the 1000mhz as it's ddr - double data rate. Most monitoring programs show that half figure, rivatuner (which i use) does exactly the same. Nothing to worry about.
You could just replace the stock cooler with a third party item (zalman get my vote) and then...
Perfectly good enough for a reasonable overclock with a small voltage increase on the core. The main reason to replace them imo is because they can make a bit of a racket. Sure 3rd party coolers do cool significantly better in some cases, but the intel stock cooler should keep one of those cool...
This Core2Duo is within your budget:

It is named Pentium, but it is a Core2Duo chip with reduced cache - 1mb
It isn't blindingly quick at stock, but is very fast when overclocked, out of reach of the athlon X2's. A reasonable...
Holy mother that is possibly the worst place for them to put the ide socket. That would indeed be where you need to plug in your cd/dvd drive if you have an ide drive.
Solution: get a longer cable, or get a sata dvd drive.
The stock intel heatsink plugs into the mobo via the 4 pin interface...
I'm fairly sure that by using a usb headset that you will be bypassing your sound card, and therefore missing out on the benefits of the x-fi. However, i may be wrong, so i shall wait and see if someone else can come along and clarify this. And to reiterate my suggestion in another thread...
Just thought i'd drop a link to this elrasho:

The Sennheisers that we'd mentioned plus GRAW2 basically free. May not be your cup of tea but thought i'd mention it all the same.
