Ok I misspoke a bit.. they ARE doing it for proift... butt he profit they make on the project goes into their next one.... all the money they made off of HL they put into making HL2.... a lot of these guys are ungodly rich and really could retire now w/o a care in the world but they don't...

I've just aquired the 600mb preview, and am running QuickTime 6.2, but the video is horribly choppy I have a AMD 2800+ with a ATI Radeon 9500 Pro and 512 Dual Channel DDR RAM... any suggestions how to smooth that thing out?
