    The blank disk im using is a Memorex DVD-R 4.7gb and my dvd drive - Generic DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device (is that right? =/) when i insert the disk it is never detected on my computer

    Hey theres obviously somethign wrong here...when i enter a blank dvd no autoplay comes up and when i open up my computer or a burning program it says that there is no CD inserted any ideas? :(
