Okay, so i bought a cheap second monitor (CRT) from my friend.. 25 bucks, old, its good for what it is.. i was running dual monitors and just sticking AIM and winamp there.. - now... when i were play a HL mod, i noticed a drop in FPS, i thought. np, its just the extra usage on video card...

get an ati 9500 or better, nv fx 5700 or better.. otherwise.. a nvidia gf4 TI series card.. 4200-4600, (4800 is only a 4200 w/ 8xagp)

i have the drivers installed... and i see no auto on setting :dozey:

Also... i would have the person decide, Intel or AMD? then... what motherboard, because it will affect all the other parts you will decide to buy.

sweet, id love to see that.. u should so make a guide on how to fix it (with pictures ^.^ for the textly challenged) if u can... because im sure alot of people of this same issue, with keyboard. some major hardware site would definately host it, if u did.

im glad i never tryed to invest on higher speed ram... cause if i had a little more money, i would have bought faster ram... then... i wouldve found more problems on the road!

yeah, GREAT keyboard... except that... can u physically do something to the board, that when power to keyboard is turn on, it will be on? my thinkings says yes... but that require expert(s) from logitech to tell u...

those dinkey fans, with a small heatsink, arent very good... best to have a some what larger, heatsink with no fan!!.. plus ull probably never need to have different cooling then the stock cooling for the northbridge, unless ur a serious overclocker.

yep, thats a standard issue u got, from linksys routers and especially with modem too. - next, ull find u need to open extra ports for stuff..

i remember hearing about how good voodoo cards were, and all that stuff, even before i owned a computer... i wanted a computer for years when i was younger... my parents waited to get a computer once a 400mhz celeron was the biggest baddest computer from gateway :-/ 8mb built in intel...

i have a dvd-rom, because... if u have ur own computer in ur room and ur a kid.. its great, parents and sister steal the TV, thats is why i love having a dvd-rom and tv tuner... makes things easier too, for like 'multitasking' chating on aim/irc and watching something if im not playing a game
