^^^^ me a couple hours ago... tried to record sound also, but i had the damn thing on line-in instead of mic, and the sound is what makes you go "shit". But, the video itself is pretty cool, trust me :p :bounce:
w0w, not sure if you guys are serious about that last pic (i hope you aren't...)
That is either the idle or running sequence, lol
I would personally shoot anyone who was that obviously bad :p
heh, be lucky that you can actually get cable at your location....
I pay $30 for the main phoneline (just the regular home phone), $30 for the 2nd phoneline (so I can go 112k), and $15 for the ISP. Luckily my ISP supports multilink, so I can get some stability in larger games.
The only...

It's pretty sad when I look back and realize that I have been stuck on dial-up for SO ****ING LONG. MOTHER ****ER I HATE THIS BASTARD CONNECTION.

Meh,
All I know is that because a lot of people have the leak, we are learning a ton of stuff about the modding aspects of HL2. By practicing now, there will be tons of good content ready for soon after HL2's release.
Okay, first off..
I DLed the leak in somewhere around Dec., I held out, but I had to have it. I have kept it all this time, still use it a lot. I mess around with making maps, using physics, blah blah blah.
Now that this is out of the way, I find it amusing that everyone saying that this...
Yes.
It might not bounce off ALL the walls in the most realistic fashion ever, but it will bounce off walls, and you won't hear people through a 1' thick masonry wall anymore. I forgot where Valve said this, but they did.
Makes sense, but they still won't ship it before its done. Still might happen a little earlier, but don't expect it to go gold next week :p... unless of course it is done...
meh, now im rambling...
Actually there is more involved in porting the old mods to source than you think. If you look at the CS:S screenshots, you can see that they have obviously done a lot of work. If you just stick the old maps into source, they look almost EXACTLY the same as in HL. They have done new models...
lol,
I definately don't get why people think that HL2 multiplayer is going to be anything more than a normal HL2 DM, TDM, CTF, King of the Hill, etc. Sure, the multiplayer could be awesome, but its still going to be the standard multiplayer.
Just use your brains people, its Valve we are...
Sure, a lot of people won't buy the source ports, but they won't be $25 each (if they sell them separately). The only way I can see them being 25 bucks each would be if valve sold them in a package, where they would average to be $20-25 each. If they sell them separately, expect to pay ~$40...
look at the price of CS in stores (not sure how much it is now, or what it was when it first came out...), Valve didn't do hardly anything with CS and they just stuck it in stores. With the ports, they actually are re-doing levels and putting in physics, new models, etc... I expect that the...
Well if it were 80 bucks, everyone would buy it. Its called a collector's edition for a reason :p You are getting the game, source ports, nice box, and goodies... I'd say that $150 is reasonable.
With your reasoning, the source ports all together should cost like 20 bucks (im saying that...
